White Panda Chinese Restaurant

I was surprised I read a few good reviews. We moved to the area ad thought we’d try it. My daughter and I stopped up to get a take out menu at 1pm. The sign said they opened at 11:30 am, they were not open. Later, we went back to order take out while waiting. We walked in, could hear people in the kitchen talking. We were kind of loudly talking after reading the menu. No one came out. We stood 8 minutes and NOONE came out despite us being loud. My daughter, who is 5 was fussing she wanted to get lunch and go. So I called the restaurant. Then a woman said, «I’ll go get it». She walked out, was polite I told her I had called and wondered if they were open. She apologized and took my order. While waiting alone in the restaurant I was shocked at how dirty the place was. They had several awards posted around. But behind the counter there was a makeshift table of stacked cardboard boxes that looked to be deteriorating, on which they had their phone, answering machiene, fax and so much other junk. There was a small fridge in the corner (like restaurants have with the glass front) it was not working and had a haphazard mess of electric wires balancing on the top, an extension cord with if say 6 – 7 things plugged into it just balancing ok be too corner. By the door there’s a small space, I don’t know what you could do with it, I’d probably enlarge the entry way a foot or so. They had it packed with more deteriorating boxes with junk on top, probably stacked 4′ high. The pop machiene front was filthy, I’d be scared of getting a drink from them because if they can’t wipe that down I doubt they clean the nozzles and such. The bottom of the front counter was disgustingly dirty as was the hand written «daily specials» sign, which fell on my daughter because it’s just propped against the counter. That being said the food was pretty good. But I will not be back because I fear what the kitchen looks like and what may be lurking in the piles of cardboard boxes. Was a little disappointed as there were 2 of us in the place, we ordered a ton of food for our family of 5 but we got only one fortune cookie. Not cool when 3 kids fight over how to hate one cookie.

Tried to find this White Panda and finally found it in a little plaza with a karate studio. The place is now called China Place. It has about 6 booths and lunch specials for under $ 6.
I’m sorry, I walked in. and walked back out. I’m now at a Burger King down the street.

I always order something different and 9 out of 10 times I am happy with my choice! I love that they package take out in actual tuperware!
Their egg rolls are nothing to get excited about, they are really greasy– but they always give you a free one if you order more than $ 10

Good Chinese food. I have always gotten it TOGO from here and never been disappointed. They have excellent Thai cuisine also. They are located back behind Davison Computers and their storefront is so small you almost miss it if you aren’t looking for it (It does not face the road), but they have good food so you’ll be rewarded for your efforts. 4 stars.
