Walmart

A big thank you to the manager and customer service at this location! Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful! We had purchased a mini bike that had major clutch issues… got the run around from Colman for a month… they finally told us to take it back to Walmart. We had no trouble at all and it was nice :) thank you Ladies!
Also, I must say that this is the nicest location!!! Way nicer than Cumming and Buford! Very pleased!

THE EXTERIOR MATTERS TOO!
I have absolutely no complaints about the interior of this store. It has always been clean and well organized and appropriately staffed during my visits. My complaint is about the exterior of the store. I visited on a Saturday morning, (Labor Day Weekend) and was shocked to see that the cart keepers were full and the parking lot was trashed. At 8am, Why?
I just believe that each day should start with a clean parking lot and all carts indoors for the convenience of the customers. This is especially desired on a major shopping weekend when things will just get worse with increased traffic.
Dear Walmart,
Good job on the interior of the store but please don’t forget the exterior areas because they matter too. They help to form the initial impression of your store and you certainly want that to be positive!

Marilyn is the best walmart employee I have ever dealt with, she is professional and it is clear she takes great pride in the store and her work she is the light in the dark at the Dawson walmart

Ok so it’s Walmart. It’s what you expect. Not enough checklanes for the business or anyone even acting concerned that the lines are backing up to apperal. Assoiates don’t ask you if you need help but will if you hunt one down. I mean it’s walmart. Not a place people go to with high expectations.

The phone is wrong its 706– 26(FIVE)-8787. This clearly happens to the owner of 706−264−8787 often because she was very short with me.

It’s Wal-​Mart, right? Walking in the door, you need to have extremely low expectations. You need to dumb down your vocabulary and anticipate poor customer service for the sake of convenience and price.
Bought a 26-​inch flat panel TV from the Alpharetta store. It was intended to be used in my son’s room. Few days later epiphany strikes — the kid doesn’t need a TV in his room. Go to return it. It’s brand new in the unopened box. The Dawsonville branch being much closer, attempted to return it there. Apparently, the serial number on my receipt did not match the serial number on the box. I don’t know why — not my problem. I bought it, this was the receipt given to me… not my problem. They looked at me as if I was a felon. They asked me how I was able to change TV’s from box to box. They asked me if the TV contained inside was used, and if I was trying to return an old, used one. Seriously? I have plenty of money and don’t need to pull shenanigans to make a buck at the expense of Wal-​Mart. Just return my item, so I can be on my way.
The result, they won’t take the TV back. I am stuck with it. No return potential. And because the serial numbers didn’t match between the receipt and TV, I have no warranty either.
So not only do you have to deal with an entire store of sub-​100 intelligent quotient employees, the company is able to make you out to be the bad guy for their own ineptitude. Buyer beware. Stay away. Spend a few extra bucks and/​or drive a few extra miles to avoid the impending Wal-​Mart hassle.

I don’t usually write reviews, but decided to write this one since I feel the current overall rating doesn’t truly reflect this Walmart. The other reviews make me wonder if we’re talking about the same store?
I shop here several times a week. It is one of the cleanest Walmart stores that I have every been to. It is a smaller store (as far as Walmarts go), but is well stocked. The employees are always helpful and friendly. Usually, if I ask an employee a question and he/​she doesn’t know the answer, he/​she will try and find someone who can help me. Customer Service has always been extra helpful too. As far as Walmarts go, this one is top notch.

Never have I had such poor shopping experiences as with Wal-​Mart stores and this location is no different; poor service, poor quality, long lines, devoid customer care, etc.; eh, It’s Wal-​Mart, what more can be said?

Although this is a Walmart like any other, I just felt like something was lacking when I shopped here. It was big, spacious, clean, and all, but something was missing…
I was looking for some metal beams to hold shelves up and every employee had no idea what I was talking about… seriously?! I ended up leaving empty handed, still not sure if they have them or not (I know they use them to hold their shelves up though!). I probably won’t be back to this location, and maybe not Walmart again… I can’t justify it when Target seems so much better.
