An awesome 3-day international festival that brings different cultures together the 3rd weekend of May. Great performances on a formal and an informal stage. The informal stage will give you an opportunity to participate alongside the performers. Great food, drinks(alco and non) and shopping. Ever wanted to travel the world? Under one roof? Here’s your chance! The Dayton Convention Center hosts A World A’Fair every May. This event has food, entertainment, shopping and arts(including Henna Tattoos) from around the world! Delicious food and pastries from India, Thailand, Peru, Ireland, Germany, China and on and on… All the shows are VERY interesting and I can’t say enough about the Kenya Acrobats. Unbelievable! The ticket prices are a steal at $ 7.00 door sales/$ 5.00 advanced sales, with even cheaper prices for seniors and children. Be sure to pick up your child’s A World A’Fair Passport which can be stamped as they visit other countries! A World A’Fair is WELL worth checking out! This years event is this weekend, May 20 – 22, 2011.
