Boston Stoker is a true local coffee roaster, beans are shipped up and roasted right here in Dayton. The pour overs are the best, but they have a roast perfect for all taste buds. If it’s important to you to support local business, then this is a great way to do it. The teas are great too, I wondered why they take a little longer, but they are actually timing the brewing process, it really makes a difference.

I guess I get confused when people tell me how much they love Starbucks… especially when Boston Stoker is in the area. Their flavored brewed coffee is to die for… the whole reason I got a reusable basket for my Keurig. Their iced beverages are good too. The only downside is every location I’ve been to appears to be quite short staffed. And the poor person working seems overwhelmed. They’ve always been friendly but I wonder why this company short changes their employees by making them work alone. Other than that, I’d rather go here than just about anywhere else… especially Starbucks, which I find gross and overpriced.
