Stopped in today. I am a home brew rookie and decided to finally buy my first set of supplies. I have done online research but this was my first trip to a real home brew supply store. Laura was working and she was very nice, polite, and knowledge with the products. I was given some recommendations and tips and she even wrote down a list of forums and apps to check out. I got everything I wanted to get started brewing which is now fermenting. This store is an hour drive for me but I will come back if im in need. It was a little hard to find from the road and my GPS took me past it. But now I know how to find the store.

I always try to support local business but these guys are the only game in town and that always seems to be the attitude you get from the staff. I am new to homebrewing so I always have questions. That seems to irritate these guys. I have been here a half dozen times and it is always the same experience. The final straw for me was my visit today. They have a 2000ml flask on their website for $ 14.99. They wanted to charge me $ 18.99 at the store. Why would I do that? They didn’t like my questions again. They said if I wanted it for $ 14.99 I would have to buy it from their website. What a joke. From now on I will order from a website, it just won’t be theirs. There are plenty of brew shops that will appreciate my business and offer very inexpensive shipping.

I’ve been going here for about 3 years because it was closer to my work commute. Now I find myself going here on the weekends too, despite the longer travel compared to other homebrew stores. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and will go out of their way to find a product for you. Rarely is a product i need out of stock. In the occasion that something is out, the staff will help you find a great substitution. The staff knows how to brew great beer and can offer great advice. I have taken a few of their classes and have become a better brewer from it. If you’re anywhere the Dayton-Cincinnati area, Brewtensils is worth the trip. Check out the great bottle shop next door, Belmont Part Supply, on your way.

This is the best place to buy your brewing supplies locally. The brewing classes are top notch and their staff is friendly and knowledgable. Don’t forget to check out Belmont Party Supply next door for their amazing beer selection.

I can’t say enough about how great of a business they are. If you want to learn about bottling your own beverages or brewing your own beer you HAVETOGOHERE. Their prices are competitve and their staff is knowledgable.
