I usually don’t take time to post negative experiences, but, I’m a little agitated with this place. First of all, I’m not sure what pizza places have a call center that you order from, I just thought that was a little stupid. Anyhow, I placed my order, took about 6 minutes to place the order because while asking questions, the guy on the phone was not helpful whatsoever. I was told it would be 75 minutes before it was delivered, which is fine, if that’s the time it takes to get in the oven. I’m Staying less than 2 minutes away(could have picked up instead of delivered, but I was exhausted after a long training day). The pizza arrived after about an hour and a half(15 minutes late). The driver was very polite and apologized for the long wait as the address was entered incorrectly(thanks again, call center). Opened the pizza(had a large pepperoni & sausage, and an order of cheese sticks). The food was not even Luke warm, like it had been sitting for a solid half an hour before it was even delivered. Flavor was mediocre. Likely due to the fact it sat for a while. Overall, not pleased with Cassano’s.

I grew-up on Cassano’s Pizza and will always love their original recipe. However, I did learned they add eggs in their pizza dough, so, I can’t no longer eat it because of my vegan diet. Yeah, eating healthy keeps me off medication and controls my diabetes. A store manager did mention family who own’s Cassano’s reverted back to grandmother or great-grandmother’s original pizza sauce recipe. Sauce is made without sugar and that’s a good thing. And it’s nice knowing Mikesells potato chips are still sold in store-Dayton’s local premium potato chip maker. Nothing better layering chips on top of Cassano’s pizza adding a crunch to our local pie. Only thing missing is old old Pop’s soda’s which aren’t no longer around-for years. Hey local food will always be better than national brands, always. Maybe one day they’ll come up with alternative dough that’s dairy free-hey you’ll be surprised what’s on the healthy market in today’s foodi. So to everyone else please enjoy a slice for me.

We have not been to Cassano’s for several years so I picked it for my Father’s Day dinner. My biggest compliment is to the service. I am not a huge Cassano’s pizza fan however the manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy. When our pizza arrived, it was not exactly what we were expecting. The manager offered to make another pizza or do anything he could to make sure we were satisfied. It is very hard to find a restaurant that goes out of its way to make us happy and Cassano’s did exactly that. We will not wait five years to come back!

Ordered a big cheese. Crust was extremely inder-cooked. I was later told by employer, yeah they changed the dough and they all are soft. This was at Huber Heights store. We want a crisp crust or taking our business elsewhere.

Cassano’s pizza has always been one of my favorite place to get a pizza. We have been customer s of theirs for all my life. From the classic style of cutting there pizza in squares. I wish they still used the old style pizza ovens though. Now for the review of this location. The service was fast, the pizza and garlic strips were great. The dining area and bathrooms were clean. The employees were fast and very friendly.

Worst service ever! No one at the front counter to take orders. Carry out order for simple order of spaghetti took 30 minutes. Rude staff. Never again.

There are some places that do fancy things with dough. Twirling it, or tossing it, or something like that. Cassano’s… not so much. They pull a disc of pre-stretched dough out of a refrigerator and get to work. It could be that this is their very own dough, prepared well ahead of time. But I just can’t trust pizza that’s already half-made when I walk in the door. Also – and maybe this is just my pizza– it was super, crazily salty. On the other hand, it was pretty affordable. And quick. So, if you need something cheap and easy to bring home for dinner, Cassano’s might be worth a try.

Ordered a 16″ pepperoni & bacon pizza & a few pops for delivery. Pizza was cut into small squares, which seemed weird at first but was ideal for the kids. The pie was very good, better than the average pizza. They supplied napkins & plates and order taker & delivery girl were very nice.

Great pizza and very laid-back environment. I was going to give this 5 stars, but although the pizza was great … I don’t like the«order here» then«sit and wait» in a cafeteria/restaurant setting. We also ordered the boneless chicken. While it was good, it was definitely frozen Tyson’s AnyTizers kind of a thing. So although it was good, it could have been better.

Tasty pizza… couldn’t stop eating it! I travel all over the country, and usually have pizza at each stop, as I love pizza. This is definitely one of the best!

Wow. What amazing pizza. We were just driving through the area and stopped for the night, but didn’t want to leave our hotel so we ordered out. I have a childhood favorite from the Illinois Iowa border that is a very similar style of pizza and Cassano’s just knocked the snot out of it. So delicious. We got a medium deluxe. It was about $ 16. They told us it would be 45 minutes and they were at our door probably 25 minutes later so we got our food about 20 min sooner than expected. And it was HOT. Fast service And super tasting, really well seasoned pizza. Thanks for making our Dayton stop a memorable one Cassano’s.

Without a doubt, Cassano’s Pizza is one of Dayton’s best kept pizza secrets! Didn’t know pizza secrets exist? Well… they do. And Cassano’s is Dayton’s one of two. Cassano’s delivers, but this location also has a very nice eat-in space. There are TVs throughout the room with the best sports games of the season. The restaurant is clean, and well-organized. Their pizza is so much better than any national chain. You can pick just about any ingredient you can imagine. They cut their pizza into these delicious little squares. Wanna know what the best part is? THECRUST! The thin traditional crust is great and sets their pizza apart from other’s. I typically order the deluxe with all the items that come with it, minus the mushrooms. Although they are a bit pricy compared to other pizzas, its is well worth the extra money. They have coupons in weekly mailers and in the Entertainment Books. If you don’t just want a pizza, but you NEED a pizza — hit up Cassano’s and you won’t be sorry!

People often talk about NY thin crust and Chicago Deep Dish pizzas, no you never hear about the Southern Ohio thin crust pizza cut in squares like at Cassano’s. Of all the places I’ve been to and eaten pizza I would rate Cassano’s in my top 5 for sure. And I know that Dayton has many other places that make a very similar style pizza, but the rock salt on the bottom of the Cassaon’s crust is what makes it the winner. Do yourself a favor and get one of their pizzas if you are in the area, you will not regret it.
