Chubby’s Carryout

Stopped at Chubbies for lunch with a friend. From the outside it looks like just a little convenient store. It is. But they have a small area in the back where they serve burgers, hoagies, sandwiches and fries. had the ½ lb Chubbie burger. It was good. Had a fresh, home cooked taste. Prices were inexpensive. It would have been better on a warmer day then we could have sat at the tables outside. This would be a great place to stop to stock up before hitting the river for the day. It is located in Dayton, Ky on Rt 8 near Watertown Marina.

With a name like Chubbys how far wrong could you go? Not very far. Chubbys is a one man fry grill. Located in a carryout on Rt 8 at the flood wall in East Dayton. Featuring a half pound hand patted Chubby burger with hot fresh fries and fountain drinks.
Service was OK. Food and prices very good. Could be a cool summer time place on the way to the river.
