I have been to this bar many times over the past and used to call it one of my favorites. But something must be wrong now. They don’t seem to be able to get food out of the kitchen fast enough anymore. Last time we were in there it took forever. We just left tonight before we managed to sit down because they said food would take an hour. They were maybe 70% full. Sorry Clancy’s, but you are off my list until someone convinces me you have your kitchen fixed.

Clancy’s has the best wings. Every time I go to a new restaurant that offers wings I order them. Clancy’s has topped them all. The other food is good too. I recommend the cheese cubes as an appetizer. The biggest down side is the wait for food. Best to go not as a quick bite, but as a casual meal.

Best wings in Dayton. Might take a while to get them though. You’ll walk in to a half empty tavern and the waitress will tell you its at least 45 minutes for food. You’ll roll your eyes, and order wings. Drink several pitchers. The waitress will tell you your food is almost done. You’ll drink several more pitchers. Finally get your wings and love them. When you leave, many hours later, its time for breakfast.

Great food. Friday night’s walleye is exceptional. Be prepared for a high sound level when the place fills up. It is a sports bar after all.

I enjoy the Western Burger platter. To me, it is cooked to perfection. The bacon is cooked nice & crispy. I slap on ketchup, mustard and mayo! It comes with BBQ sauce.

I’ll definitely be back to try some more of their menu! Intially walking in, it appears to just be an average bar.
Upon receiving my menu, I was pleasantly surprised at the large variety of entrées. My boyfriend and his friend ordered burgers, and were happy with the taste and quality. I ordered an assorted fried basket of zucchini, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, mushrooms, pickles, cauliflower, and cheddar cubes. The cheddar cubes were AWESOME and the whole thing was a good deal for only 10.99.
I’ll be back to assess more of their menu!

Awesome every time. I’m starting to feel like a regular. Friendly staff — food can take a while but that’s because it’s made to order. Try the spinach salad with marinated grilled chicken– packed with protein and very tasty. Onion rings are the best ever. Definitely not a drive by– stop in and you’ll see what makes this place so special.

This is a great place to go if you want a laid-​back and casual atmosphere with really good food. The prices are really reasonable. They have good happy hour drink specials, too. We have gone twice and were prepared for a wait because of the reviews. The first time there was no wait at all and when we went for wing Tuesday ($.50 each) the server told us there would be a 30 min wait for our food, which was fine. The salads are surprisingly large and the wings are decent. The pork tenderloin is huge and the server was very attentive and friendly.

I’ve been here a few times. Above average bar food. Service has been very slow and it takes a long time to get food. But if you’re. It in a hurry it’s a good hideaway away from the national chains!

Hole in the wall place I’ve passed hundreds of times over the years, some co-​workers and I went here for lunch not long ago and was surprised! This place is somewhat of a greasy spoon /​tavern, but the food is really good! Service was painfully slow hence the 3 stars, but I will for sure go back! The burgers were great and a few people ordered the tenderloin sandwiches that were as big as the plate and looked amazing! Seems like quite the hidden gem and very cheap to boot!

Clancy’s has great wings… the spicy garlic sauce is really good. They make a good burger. Do NOT go here if you’re ready to sit down and eat. They service is pretty slow… because of the kitchen getting behind. We’ve waited as long as an hour for wings before?!!
There is usually a good crowd on Friday and Saturday night and Sunday’s during football.
Great happy hour specials and then the glass of beer seems a bit pricey. W

delicious chili and wings. Fried veggies (mushroom zucchini cauliflower) is so SO good… Hot Shots also a fav of mine there. Excellent service and accommodation for children.
Also, they have excellent beer and drink specials…
SUN is pretty busy… may be too loud for children at times on SUN. :) lol However, it’s better than your children being too loud for the restaurant LOL

Clancy’s Tavern truly is as good as it gets. If you looking for the best burger in Fairborn, Beavercreek, Riverside, Clancy’s is the place to go. I wouldn’t recommend going during lunch, service can be slow at times. Sunday’s are completely packed with their Sunday NFL Game-​Day Package. Excellent specials and draft beer. A hidden gem.

i went to clancy’s with coworkers for lunch on one of their recommendations. i’m a local haunt type of guy so i was looking forward to see what CT had to offer. unfortunately my buffalo chicken sandwich was small, flavorless, and came on white bread. one half of the sandwich didn’t have any meat on it.
conclusion: no for lunch; probably for drinking. if i lived down the street, i could see myself in here for pitchers, watching football, darts, etc, but i don’t live down the street. won’t be back.

I have family that lives in Dayton and are frequent visitors to Clancys, I have been there a handful of times and I love the place. I have actually ate their wings more than I have been there, my family has done carryout and they are just as good as ordering them in the tavern. The beers are defintley cheap and there is a TV everywhere you turn. This bar is not the type of place you walk into and feel like you dont belong, although there are plenty of regulars in there. The atmosphere is dated but comfortable. Cant wait until I make it there again!

This is a great place if you want to get a large group of Friends and have a drink. Prices and food are good. Location is off the beaten path, but very good spot. In the fall, place is a very popular football hang-​out.

How am I the first to write a review about Clancy’s? This place is FANTASTIC! It’s a comfortable little bar/​restaurant. They have cheap priced beer. I can’t remember the exact day (or times), but I know my boyfriend and I loved going in here and getting a $ 10 pitcher of Blue Moon, and some yummy fried appetizers. :) (Mozz. Sticks, zucchini. etc)
The employees are really nice, too!
Unfortunetly I haven’t been here in a while since I moved to San Francisco, but beleive me… I DEFINITELY plan to go back here many many more times.
I love me some Clancy’s!
