I adore this bakery. Not only are the donuts THE BEST I have ever tasted, but the bakery itself is wonderful.
My mother ordered pies and I do not like pie. HOWEVER I LOVED the sweet potato pie. It’s the absolute BEST.
Next bread. Again, my mom decided she wanted Milk bread. Never heard of it? Me neither. I go to Jennifer, the owner, and she just whips out the recipe. Not only that, she asked for feedback to make it better (it was perfect the way it was). Then today as I get my donuts, I see bread samples. It’s her newest bread to try. It was HEAVENLY.
And lastly, I bought donuts once and they did not taste like normal. So I call the shop and Jennifer answers. I talk with her and told her I didn’t really like what was done. No problem. She let me know she was stretching mix til her new shipment and that her donuts would not change. THEN she said she would give me a free dozen since I wasn’t happy. I forgot about the free but I remembered the mix part. Next time I’m there I made the inquiry if the mix was the same. Jennifer REMEMBERED and gave me a free dozen donuts.

Best of everything, everything is made from scratch and you can taste it. I’ve recently moved south, but they said they would ship me some donuts whenever I call! Love me some Evan’s bakery YUM

I stopped in here for the first time today to get some donuts. They were excellent. The customer service was friendly. I called ahead to order the donuts and everything was ready when I got there. I will definitely use them again.

What a great little community bakery! Reminds me of when I was a kid.
You really need to check it out. Simple Place, Great Food.
Bottom line, you wont find better donuts and pastries at any the high dollar fancy joints.

I just sent my son up to Evans Bakery to get a birthday cake for a 50 year old man. He told the employee that the cake was for a man and did not want the one in the case with roses on it. They went to the back to personalize the cake and when they came out they had wrote on another cake with roses on it. It’s hideous.
I called the bakery and they weren’t willing to do anything about it.
My first and last experience with this business. There are a lot of local bakeries that do a fantastic job and they will get my money in the future.

Every time I’m on the North side of Dayton, I stop by this bakery shop for their kolachi. (Look more like kiffles, but hey!) They also have great donuts and their raisin whole wheat Irish soda bread is to die for! Great prices and always friendly service.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl. My parents and my grandparents have also came here for years. By far the very best donuts and cakes that I have ever had. I was so happy when I heard that they were opening back up. was just there two weeks ago getting dozens of donuts for my work and my family
