Fond memories of getting slices here at lunch. Cheap and consistent, nothing bad, nothing good. For whatever reason we always came up with bogus names for this place. Don’t worry, you had to be there.

Pizza was pretty good and the crust had a nice consistency to it. I had a gift card I had gotten in a raffle, which I hoped to use at this location, but was told each location had their own gift cards and couldn’t accept ones from the other locations. I was a little upset about that. Also, the pizza took almost 45 minutes, which I don’t know if that could be attributed to the fact that it was Friday night or if that’s the standard amount of time it takes. Seemed a little pricey. Overall, I would probably eat there again, but it’s not my new favorite pizza place

While I’m not yet convinced that the change is here to stay, I have noticed an improvement in the customer service. A few of the younger employees have been pretty friendly on my last few visits. I hope that this is a permanent change, since the pizza is good stuff. Note: Don’t order the mushroom or the pepperoni. The pepperoni may simply be a personal preference(it tastes old and weak), but the mushrooms are CANNED. Terrible, terrible choice. Even Cousin Vinny’s pizza(cheap, college-kid pizza) uses fresh mushrooms on their super cheap pies. Certainly Flying Pizza could spring for it! Their pies aren’t exactly cheap.

The restaurant itself is very small, so plan on getting carry out. Very cool though because they sell pizza by the slice if you don’t want a whole pie. Their deco is very cool, as it highlights the city the pizza is styled after(NYC).

The pizza is okay, definitely to rave about. It’s about as close as you’ll get to NY style in the area, but almost any hole in the wall in NY has better pizza than this bland mess. I recommend sticking to cheese or pepperoni as all the other vegetables are canned/frozen.

I love the pizza here. Its good New York style. I mean not just good for Dayton but good for anyplace that’s not New York good. That being said, the atmosphere is just depressing. We get pizza here about once a month and every time I leave angry. Some people have eluded to the service being poor and you will know why if you go in. Every time, every single time, I have to witness the one manager(possibly self appointed) condescendingly and passive aggressively berating the workers. It is so awkward since the customers are just on the other side of the country and we just have to watch. Today it was because the one worker didn’t grab my sauce ahead of time… I had to wait approximately 5 seconds for it and I did not mind… probably because I am not a psychopath. Yet I got to witness an adult man belittle another adult man for not grabbing sauce when he was in the back. Like it took 5 seconds and the manager wasn’t even the one that had to go the back to get it. Every time it is something mindnumbingly stupid and I spend the rest of my day fuming about how that guy must be the biggest jerk ever. But yes, the pizza is pretty good.

I went here hoping for a wonderful Italian dining experience. What I got was the complete opposite. I ordered a slice of pizza that arrived burnt as hard toast and crusty on the bottom. When I said that I wasn’t happy, the manager asked if I was a flying pizza customer. I said that I was a customer, and that should be enough. He rudely said that this is how they make pizza and basically to deal with it;. He said that if he fired it again, it would turn out exactly the same way. I ate the top half of the slice, but will will NEVERCOMEBACK! So, to answer his question… I will never again be a Flying Pizza customer and strongly suggest that you don’t either.

Flying Pizza is the worst. I wouldn’t even give it one star if you didn’t have to. It’s like taking a piece of cardboard, putting some ketchup and fake cheese. That’s Flying Cardboard. In fact just eating the cardboard would be better.

If you’re looking for New York style pizza in the Dayton area, this is your place!!! Great pizza and fast service but not the most outgoing workers! They carry wine and beer and have a small eating area if you are wanting to eat there. Like I said, people defintely come here for good pizza!!!

These guys have an awesome slice of pizza. Not many places will serve you in slices in Centerville, but these guys do. Pretty much just a really nice pizza joint

Pizza is greasy, but delicious! Nothing a napkin can’t blot away. I love how large the slices are, I get full on one, but can’t help myself and always end up getting a second. Great prices! ;) Can’t wait to go back to the Dayton area so I can eat here again!

Just had a slice of pepperoni. Wait time was 4 minutes. Service was kind. Pizza was delicious. It’s the best New York style pizza I’ve ever had in Ohio.

Just good pizza. Pepperoni and meatball everytime. Greasy yummy goodness embodied in a box but not too greasy in my opinion. I would suggest not getting breadsticks from them though, they’re average at best. I’m not sure if they make them in house but if they do I would have expected better. And if you’re out and need a semi-quick bite, how many places around Dayton can you serously go buy pizza by the slice? I think that’s freaking awesome!

The pizza was tasty, but the crust was too be called New York pizza. They only have packaged dressings, their calazones are all pre-made, and(GETTHIS!) they don’t have grated cheese!!!

I haven’t been here in years, but I grew up on Flying Pizza as a treat. My dad used to take me here periodically, and there is nothing quite like their Sicilian pizza. You have to try it — thick slice, great toppings. So many good memories of getting some za with dad.

I like a pizza crust that has flavor and this place delivers a New York style pizza with a yeasty crust with texture. The sauce is excellent too. Have beer with your slice or whole pie and you’ll think you died and went to heaven. It’s a family-owned place that makes a great product — the kind of place I prefer to take my business.

Best meatball Pizza ever ever ever. Seriously, the pizza here is just great. Easily my favorite hand-tossed pizza in the area. Makes me wish I was in Ohio right now.
