Won’t be back. Server explained/apologized for another guest who had a «health condition» which«caused him» to communicate ethic slurs. The expectation was that we deal with the comments. Although our best buddies were with us(who were white), the bar attendant made a point to single us out to inform us(black patrons) what we could anticipate from this other patron. No response from the bar. There is a sister bar owned by this same owner with similar concerning accounts. We will not return or support an establishment that permits such hate.

Awesome bar in the Oregon District. Lots of people, a dance floor, live dj, and beautiful, attentive bartenders. The coolest part: all the old school video games in the back you can play for free. Pac-man, street fighter, taxi driver, shoot-em style games, darts and so many others. They have a patio in the back and the atmosphere is really cool and laid pack with a really young crowd. Graffiti on the walls and comics posted all over the bathrooms –just a really cool place to grab drinks with friends or hang out on a weekend.

I recently visited hole in the wall after the new management took over, and my what a change! The staff introduced me to this choice bourbon named Kentucky tavern. At first I was skeptical due to the redneck vibe the previous management displayed but thought I would give it a try, since i’d never been introduced to this fine bourbon from the blue grass state. Wheeew am I glad I did. I quickly became attached to this amazing way of making bad decisions and dancing on their dance floor like a idiot. Which by the way is given it’s beats by some of Dayton finest DJ’s. All jokes aside this place. It’s staff. And the overall atmosphere is one of my all time favorite places to visit. Come in and enjoy the night with us. Just don’t get grumpy if it’s a little crowded, it’s not called hole in the wall for nothing. But great things come in little… Holes?
