I volunteer for the Humane Society of Greater Dayton at their Meowza Cat Boutique location in the Dayton Mall(across from Dicks and near Sears). If your looking for your next furbaby, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. You can check out our main location at 1661 Nicholas Rd(just down the street from UD Arena), Meowza, or any of the Petsmart & Petco locations(yes, the have our cats there). Also, if your like me and don’t have money to donate, then please consider donating your time — just 4 hours a month keep you as an active volunteer. Last year volunteers donated 74,000 hours of their time. And no, you don’t have to take them all home. I have volunteered for over a year and have not adopted any more pets(oh I have 4 cats that would not be happy with a 5th one, lol) But getting a cat into it’s forever home is GREAT!

I volunteer here and I love it! There are so many opportunities to help out our furry friends. If you can’t volunteer you can definitely donate or adopt your next furry friend! We have a pretty small dog kennel but we always have dogs in need of a good loving home. We have plenty of cats at the shelter and at Meowza! down at Dayton Mall. We also have rabbits and other animals that are up for adoption. We are a no kill shelter unless the animal is so sick that the last resort is euthanasia. We offer services like low cost spay and neuter, microhipping, and we also spay/neuter community cats and release them back in order to reduce the cat population. We also have a hume agent that investigates cases of abuse and neglect.
