We ended up shopping here, multiple times, during our stay in Dayton for Hamvention. Large, well lit store. Friendly staff. Somewhat typical experience as far as Kroger goes.

This location is definitely not as nice as its Beavercreek and Kettering predecessors. It’s a tad bit on the ghetto side and you’ll find that out quickly when you’re greeted with a security guard/police officer guarding the front door. The pharmacy here is very helpful though, very friendly, and always quick with the drop off turn around. The staff here, overall are very friendly and always quick to help you find what you’re looking for. The stores seems a bit dingy/dirty at times, and not nearly as bright and inviting as some of the surrounding krogers. The florist department is really lacking and half the plants I saw were overpriced considering a lot of them were dying/already dead. The lady working behind the flower counter though was super cheerful and very helpful.

Worst customer service ever! Management has no clue where they moved things. Was after a bag of salted peanuts. Sent 4 times from one end of store to other by 2 managers and three employees. Each sent me to a completely different aisle. Gross incompetence! This has to be their experimental store as it seems like it wasn’t that long ago they moved everything around. Not worth the frustration folks, if you like Kroger try Vandalia or Brandt Pike stores. Stay away from this one. I took my business to Walmart.

I shop here on occasion and have a suggestion for employees… smile a little and get friendlier. Everyone looks grumpy here.
