A job at WPAFB brought me to Dayton. Prior to moving to Dayton, I came here for a week to search for apartments. I visited MANY housing developments during my housing search. There are many reviews on apartment complexes in the Dayton/Beavercreek area. I wasn’t able to find any reviews on the Lakes of Beavercreek. I settled on this development due to its proximity to WPAFB and it seemed to be a safe area. I have been living in this apartment complex for 3 months. It is a nice development but there are restrictions. 1. A money order is required for the security deposit. 2. The management adamantly refuses to accept mail parcels. 3. My biggest complaint regarding the Lakes of Beavercreek is that their maintenance is substandard at best. The Lakes of Beavercreek’s idea of plowing is driving down the middle of the road/parking complex. They don’t plow parking spaces… even when there aren’t any cars parked in those parking spots.
