MCM Electronics

I purchased a small computer board and power supply (Raspberry Pi 3). The items were shipped via FedEx/​Smart Post in a padded 8.5in x 12in envelope. By the time I received the package, it looked like it had been stepped on, and placed on the bottom of the pile.
This was by far the worst packaging I have seen. For what it cost me in S/​H fees, the items could have been placed in a small USPS Priority Mail box, been protected from damage, and would have been cheaper to ship. I have no plans on ordering from them again.

I ordered a flat screen TV/​monitor stand. excellent quality, Shipped and arrived as promised. Great quality.

Poor service. I placed my order online which went fine. The address listed on the website is local so I decided to place it in will call and pick it up. I arrived at the listed address only to find out my order was 9 miles away in a warehouse. If you are going to pick up your order you need to go to to the warehouse. They could have indicated that when I placed my order or when they sent my confirmation email. The website says to allow 3 hours for the order to be filled. When I arrived after 3 hours the order was not ready. I waited 45 minutes and received the order but no paper work. I was told that orders filled after 3:00pm did not get paper work until later. If you go to the warehouse you will not speak to an employee of MCM Electronics. You will speak to a guard from Merchant security. I called customer service and had to work my way through the voice mail system all the while being told to just leave a message. The lady I spoke to said she could not speak on what had happened with my order and my paperwork as she was not located in that building. I suggested that they tell people that the will call orders are to be picked up at a different location than that listed on the website. I pointed out that this must be an ongoing problem as there is a stack of maps to the warehouse and a sign on the door of the address listed on the website. I was told that I would recieve my invoice vie email. To date I am still waiting for the invoice. MCM should have an employee available at the warehouse not a contract security guard.
