Let me just say how much I love, LOVE MJ’s. Honestly I wish they’d open one in Columbus. We need more dance clubs, gay bars, etc.
I went for my 30th b’day last year (and will be going back soon). The name of the manager escapes me at the moment but was an awesome guy. I went on Friday-​my low-​key b’day party-​explained I’d have an entourage of 20 people coming with me the following evening. He comped cover for my entire party and our drinks were strong and very reasonable price-​wise. LOVE!
Really made my whole weekend and had a great time. Plus they had a charity drag event going on so I got to celebrate my special weekend and give money to a great cause. Couldn’t get better than that.
Can’t wait to go back!

A fun place for the open-​minded. The bartenders are friendly, pour with heavy hands and the drinks are cheap. I’m a straight girl and I love this place.

San Diego, CA
The infamous Tim (from the original Celebrities and Masque fame) came over to MJ’s and is now there all the time. He also hosts Tuesdays with Teabag Timmy. I adore Tim and would drink anywhere if he was behind the bar. Definitely more for the men but lesbians and straight people are welcome. A lot of the amazing people who used to work, strip, drag, drink, etc. came over here when Tim left so its always a fun group. More of an adult crowd as well.
