A great place in Dayton to hang out and order good food and drinks. Love the beer selection and the football that is always playing on the tvs! Definitely check it out!

Wasn’t terribly impressed. Food was average. Only had one beer and it was OK. Two things really stand out to me. The place had a very odd smell… Strong smell of bleach was present and something else… not sure what. The music that was played was a distraction. It was overly loud and unusual.

Great new place in downtown Dayton. Everything is freshly prepared; the atmosphere is sophisticated but casual, and the beer and wine are great choices to accompany the food. The shrimp and grits were creamy and had an outstanding sauce with a hint of lemon. Fish and chips are crispy on the outside but have soft, tasty centers. The shrimp tacos are spicy and featured a strawberry-flavored salsa that cuts the spice in a subtle way. Great apple pie and ice cream. Can’t wait to try other dishes and am looking forward to Bayou Mondays. Hope Dayton can support this outstanding cuisine.

Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich were delicious, soup was thick and two different kinds of cheese on the sandwich. We also had a cheese burger with fries and the burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were thick cut and sort of curled, but were very good. We tried the beer fight which is four 5 ounce glasses of your choice. Didn’t care for all of them but there are plenty more to choose from when we go back which we definitely will.

Accidentally found out about Monkey Town on the day of the opening. My husband loves a variety of beer and loved the selection of house made beers here. We had the pretzel and beer cheese which were to die for. I ended up with the fish and chips and my hubs had some sort of a beef sandwich(I think). Whatever it was, we loved both of our dishes and appetizer. What I liked is that the food didn’t seem like the old frozen microwaved food that some diners try to pass off as fresh. It is a breath of fresh air in the Dayton area. I really hope that they are supported by our community

We went for lunch on a saturday & there wasnt a soul in the place! Menu choices were very limited. I did not like the burger, very greasy and not cooked. 2 out of 3 of our orders were wrong. over $ 45 for some burgers that were awful. I do not recommend.

Great little brewery in downtown Dayton. Staff are very friendly, beer is excellent, and the burgers are wonderful. Dayton has needed a place like this for a while, and I’ll certainly be back.

This is a nice little place in the thriving metropolis known as Dayton. After Unilocal sent us to THREE places that were closed we landed here and are glad we did. The food is not your typical frozen, zapped, and served meal. You could tell everything was freshly made right there. Both our waitress, Sarah, and the owner were as friendly as could be. Even though they have been open quite a while they still treat their guests like, well like guests. Great food, great people.

It was the first time I’ve been back to Dayton since they opened, and was really excited to stop by. It was pretty empty since we got there right before close, but I had two great beers and talked beer with Kirby, the owner, for probably 15 minutes. The tap selection was great, and they didn’t bother to appease anyone with a Budweiser or any other main stream offering. Every option was unique, appropriately presented, and cheap too! I had the New Belgium Sesion, and the Emergency Drinking Beer, both of which were great flavorful beers and I will certainly be remembering when I head back to Atlanta. Monkey will certainly become a regular stop on my way in when I come back to town!

Can’t wait to go back! I think it is great that there is an establishment like this opened in Dayton. Hopefully other entrepreneurs will take notice and bring more of this kind of life to downtown Dayton! It’s like a breath of fresh air!

The waitress was lovely. I liked the minimalist décor. But it wasn’t even half full and the food took way too long, to the point where we asked if everything was okay. She said it would just be a bit more, which was 15 minutes more. The food was good, not great but if it’s going to take as long as it did I hope for great food. I’d try it once more for drinks and appetizers but probably not dinner with the family.

I tried the BBQ rib sandwich and fries for lunch. It was generous serving and very good. I like the big curly fries. Staff was easy going. I will try again.

Just opened up but you wouldn’t be able to tell it from the high quality service and experience. Never really tried craft beer until I went here. They’ve been open for about three weeks now and I’ve already been at least four or five times. The food is great and menu is expanding and always offering something new or different. The owner is still waiting on the permit to be able to sell his own self made brew but I’ve tried about five of the current ones on tap and they’ve all been different but pretty good beers in my opinion. I’d recommend the Brooklyn summer Ale. The wings are great and beer cheese dip is crazy delicious. Much needed addition to the Dayton area. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area or live around here. No need to drive to Chattanooga anymore!

Loved our experience and meet the owner very nice young man who has gone after his passion. Food was terrific the philly was what I had and my wife had the brats and the way they do the fries you have to try them to believe it. Continued success and we will be visiting often to try the menu changes. Can’t wait to get back!

Came here a couple times this week, including opening night, June 2nd. They had some hiccups that first night, but even so it was a great experience. The food was great. I had the fish and chips. The coleslaw alone is worth returning for. The beers were good, though I’m excited for their own beers in the future. The menu was short and sweet; plenty of good choices now with more expansion promised in the future. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially knowing all the hard work, sweat, and tears that went into it. It will look even better once the themed décor gets up. It’s definitely going to be a regular haunt for our group. Exactly what this town needed.
