Moore Dessert Please

The cupcakes were pretty decent, but there was hardly any selection. It seems that they do not restock as cupcakes leave the shelves. To be fair, Zombie Dogz was in the parking lot and a lot of people were stopping in to pick up cupcakes to go with their dogs. I wish I could give them an awesome review because I love supporting small businesses like this. I will stop in and give it another shot soon!

We discovered More Dessert Please after their episode of Cupcake Wars aired. We’ve been coming back for More ever since! I love their chocolate chip cookies. I’m usually not much of a cake person but even this girl has been won over by their light and fluffy cupcakes. If you haven’t tried this local backers yet, it is a MUST!

NOPE. No way. You guys (meaning, you other reviewers) have gotten this all wrong. Moore Dessert makes fantastic cupcakes that are reasonably priced and explosively tasty. I find that the amount of frosting they use is a refreshing change to other cupcake shops that pile on a pyramid of the delicious goodness (don’t get me wrong, I love it, but a bit overpowering to the actual cake). Just a nice little ploomp. Also, I appreciate the creative and unique flavors such as s’mores, biscoff, strawberry poptart, almond pistachio, and maple baconator. Become a friend on facebook and you are likely to recieve «secret codes» that you can present at the shop to get buy-​one-​get-​one free during certain hours.
My criticism? Yes, the employee at the counter could try and look less like she hates her job. A local business is only as good as the people behind the counter.
Bottom line, try it out. Having to eat a cupcake is the worst that could happen to you.

Like another reviewer I was super excited to try this place out. I was shopping with a girlfriend for her baby shower cupcakes and we decided to try them out. The girl at the counter was not friendly and seemed annoyed with our questions. The cupcakes themselves were nothing special either. I saw these same girls at a local sweet event and they acted the same way… customer service goes a long way with me and this place does not have it!

I was so excited to try this new business. However I was very disappointed. The poor service marred my experience. I felt like I was bothering them by asking questions about the cupcakes. The young woman at the counter never even looked up or smiled. We were the only ones in the place.
There was no signage about the types of cupcakes in the cases — it was listed on a chalkboard but many of the cupcakes in the case looked similar. I asked for milk (cake, cupcakes or otherwise deserve milk — right) No milk. We were going to eat our treats there — six or so bar stool type chairs facing a wall — nothing else, no plates or forks if you wanted one.
Cupcake was fine. If you are an icing person you will love it — a cake person, not so much.
I’ll probably go back — in a few months. Let them work out the kinks.
