Have gone to Runners Plus at least twice a year for the past few years and I love it. The staff are incredibly helpful, patient, and they don’t work off commission. They have a very neat and clean store everything is organized and the selection is huge. My only complaint is the price but it isn’t that bad because they have never recommended a bad shoe and I have always liked what I have gotten.

My spouse and I recently became serious about running. We only run for pleasure, but we are running enough that we decided it’s time for some professional gear to improve our runs and prevent injury. We found Runners Plus on Unilocal and went to check it out.
The shop is clean and well organized. The sales staff are professional and courteous. Our associate was attentive and thorough. She assisted my husband with finding a pair of shoes for his flat foot running. They have an interesting technique for determining your shoe style by use of a treadmill and video cameras to observe your running form.
My only complaint was a comment by the sales associate. She mentioned, in not so many words, that she would never run in such a terrible shoe. I am in love with my running shoes. I felt like she was telling me she didn’t respect my choice in shoes. However, I do not feel that she was intentionally malicious and maybe didn’t realize the effects of her words.

Decent selection of shoes and running gear. Prices a bit high but they have good sales and a clearance/discount rack. nothing you can’t find at most other running stores or large sports stores.
Customer service lacking though… one night I stood at the cash register, merchandise in hand, wallet out for 5 min. Looking right at 3 employees chatting and trying on shoes in the entryway to the back. Waved at them. They just continued their conversation, one of them came out, looked at me, then got a pair of shoes to take back to the female employee who was trying on shoes! OK, do they really need me to tell them what a customer standing at the register with merchandise and wallet out needs from them? LOL I’ll be going elsewhere in the future… somewhere willing to actually sell me merchandise.
