Arrived at the drive thru BEFORE10pm closing time with one car in front of me. Pulled up to order and nothing. Backed out and went to the door. Locked. Got back in the car and pulled up to the window. Honked… was obviously seen and was ignored. Honked 4 more times… finally someone came to the window to say they were closed. Advised him that I was in line before 10pm. Asked if another location might be open… he said«I don’t know». AWESOME!!! Saw the manager… asked to speak with him. He said he was watching the time on their system and shut down at 10pm. Great for those wanting to get out early… sucks for a customer already waiting in line when he decides to shut down… bad business practice.

This Skyline Chili, like all I have visited in the Dayton area is always bright, clean and welcoming. The staff are always cheerful, clean-cut, well dressed and efficient. I particularly enjoy their Greek Salad. Lots of pepperoncini, feta cheese, olives, and dark green lettuce with a nice Greek dressing. For only $ 2.00 more you can have grilled chicken on it. Yummy! Too bad they do not offer anchovies as an option. One of the best Greek Salads in town, and at a reasonable price. Note: This chain was started by a Greek family with their first outlet built on the skyline of Cincinnati, OH.

WARNING: This review is highly biased. I am a fluffy cheese-lovin’ Skyline advocate. This is a review of the franchise itself, not this particular location. When you try Skyline Chili for the first time, either you love it OR you’re not too impressed. As previously admitted, I fell in love at first taste. I always order the three-way. Fluffy mountains of cheese top their unique chili that cascades over spaghetti. Then I order a coney dog on the side. They come equipped with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard. The conies are smaller than your average hotdog so don’t expect one to fill you up. Skyline is more importantly a creation and tradition of southern Ohio. If you get the opportunity, try it for yourself.

Good hot dogs, chili. A bit of a local traditional venue for«some». Pretty basic. Low cost, easy on the wallet — fast in, food out to your table fast. Can’t beat that!
