I never buy at home Depot, always at Lowes, customer service at Lowes is great. customer service at Home Depot is a «bad memory»; Today I bought a fence at lowe’s and they run out of it, and i needed more, so I made an exception and called Home Depot and talked to store manager Ms. Julie to see if she will match Lowes price, she said yes, and asked me to bring the papers with me, so I drove 15 minutes to the store, and when i came to contractor desk, 2 nasty characters occupied that desk,(nasty in appearance and nasty in attitude) one of these characters also lied about his name, both already knew why i came, but refused to honor the price match, and said Julie is not available, I knew they are lying because i just talked to her on the phone, so i went to customer service desk on the other side of the store to ask for Julie, and the nasty character from the first desk already notified them that I came for Julie, eventually Julie came, but she refused to honor the price match, saying she asked me to bring the papers just because i insisted… which is false, all I did is asked if she can match it, and she made me drive 15 minutes just to send me back 15 minutes without doing anything. the thing is that this is not unique for this specific location of Home depot, this is the mentality of home depot that trickle down from corporate office in «Atlanta, GA…»(look it up…) and if i had to guess the motto of Home depot, based on my past experience, I would say it is «Home Depot, Be nasty, Period.» now be careful where you read your reviews, such as where they erase bad reviews and encourage false good reviews, most likely written by hired help.

Went in Home Depot this morning at 10:30 am. He store was very empty. We visit here often since it’s very close to our house. We went through self check out today. We had a 50 pound bag of soil we couldn’t get to scan. We look around the cashier is standing looking at a magazine. The gentleman next to us is asking for assistance as well for a toilet in a box that will not scan either. She cops an attitude as if we are bothering her. Home Depot needs to get these employees in check. So many times I have received poor Customer Service in this store these days. I have decided to spend my money at Lowe’s instead.

This store on Salem Ave needs new management. Every time I deal with them it’s the worse possible service. Spent about 10k with them over the last six months. They have a real talent for dropping the ball. Messed up every order/delivery/install/experience I’ve had with them. Next time I’m going to Lowe’s or driving across town. Horrible.

I have an issue with Home Depot’s choice of delivery company; Estes Express. They promised delivery between 9 and noon today. I did not recieve a call until 12:45 that they were«running late» and would not arrive until 2p.m. Absolutely no apology or other compensation for our inconvenience was offered. I’ll see if they make it by 2. When people often have to take time off of work to receive delivery– this is unacceptable. Home depot needs a more reliable delivery company– especially for customers who order more than a thousand dollars worth of products.
