The first two courses of the meal went really well. The staff was friendly, the timing of the food, the manager visited the table, etc. When the entrée came the server didnt come back for 15 – 20 minutes. Additional sauces were requested and they came when the entrée was finished. It took an additional 15 minutes for her to come back and get our order for dessert. Very very disappointed in our service the last two times at The Melting Pot.

My husband enjoyed every one of our 4 courses and our server, Lisa, was fabulous. We happened to dine here during restaurant week, which was an added bonus but we will be back.

Very pricy but fun. We always do all the courses but just take the salad to go. The salad is nothing special and otherwise get too full. Save your belly space for the good stuff. I like lobster but don’t like it here … steak, chicken, shrimp are good … and of course the cheese course … but the best is the chocolate.. obviously. The staff walks you through what to do and they usually have some season preparation to try or the standard choices. When cooking the meat. as soon as we take one out we put another in to cook. But it’s a place that dining takes more time … place to relax … chat while things are cooking. Good date night place. Often they have deals on Groupon or similar things to help with cost.

This is a very nice and wonderful restaurant! The ambiance is great for a date night, but I’ve also been with a large group of girls for ladies night! Food and service are wonderful. My only complaint is it is pricey for the amount of food you receive!

Looks really nice and fancy but the food is not delicious at all. I hate when something is expensive for no good reason

This place was awesome. Great dinner. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I have been to three different melting pots to this point. This one provided a great server(Sarah) and our surf and turf was delicious all the way around.

Came here on a Wednesday night with a group of 6. There were only maybe 3 tables of people in the restaurant. Our server was unknowledgeable on what beer they had and any wine selection. They were out of most of their beer and when asked what kind they had he just said«I don’t know»…wonderful start. We all ordered our selections and took about half hour to just bring out cheese for the fondue. He also came back to tell us they were out of Caesar salad. Are you kidding me? our reservation was at 7 and we left at 10:15 that is way too long! They’re also way to EXPENSIVE for what you get. Definitely not worth the service or money and will not be returning.

Me and my boyfriend came for restaurant week. I wanted to try it and this deal was pretty good, 4 courses for $ 25.15. 1st off we arrived like 15 minutes early our reservation was at 7. They told us they would sit us closer to our reservation. So we sat at the bar and had a drink, the bartender was very friendly and personably. We were seated and quite frankly I was happy I got water at the bar cause it took a little while to be greeted although the place did not seem that busy on the walk to our table. Our table was very nice and secluded. It was like we were at dinner just us two, I liked it. We ordered our first course(cheese fondue) after ordering I ordered a drink. The server came back like 10 minutes later to ask what drink I ordered another 5 minutes later I got my drink. Then after our first course we had a salad when that arrived my boyfriend asked for a beer, we were ending our 3rd course before the manager walked by and asked how we were doing and went to get the beer. Awesome on the managers part but not awesome it took so long. On our 3rd course, the entrée the server did a great job of explaining the sauces but said nothing of what to do with the raw meet on our plate, granted for the most part we knew but some explaining would have been nice. The server dropped off the desert menu and just left no explanation, no getting our order. Another 15 minutes go by and a worker passed and my boyfriend asked for them to put in our desert order our server came promptly after that to get it. After finishing our desert we waited awhile to get the check. Again the manager checks on us so we asked him for the check. Now being a server myself it takes a lot for me to comment on service, but this service was terrible. My co worker said I would be there till 10 and I laughed him off but that’s just about the time we left. 3 hours for a meal? And that’s not just the problem I felt like our server was ignoring us or simply forgot about us not just once but multiple times. I’m not sure if this was the servers fault or the restaurants failing job to supply them with a manageable section.

Walked out after 10 minutes of not even being acknowledged after seating. No drink orders, no” hello someone will be right with you” it’s like we weren’t even there. Felt snubbed. Walked out.

This place is expensive for fondue. They give you cheese and stuff to dip food in. For dessert you get a marshmallows, Rice Krispies etc. to dip in chocolate.

Had an AMAZING time! The food was great, but the exceptional service is what really made it for me. When you go, if you want to have a TON of fun, request Brianna; she’s by far the best server I’ve ever had anywhere and she made my birthday such a blast! As for restaurant details, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This place is in a strip mall, but as soon as you walk in, you find yourself in a truly beautiful space! Obviously, I don’t suggest wearing jeans and a sports tee here… I would shoot for business-casual and up :) Personally, I prefer to wear a cute dress and heels. If you have a vegetarian in the group, you’ll either want to let them call the shots and cook their food first, or you’ll want two burners. Two burners does mean two pots which will be more expensive, but worth it. You can’t go wrong with the food, you cook it yourself which makes the night a real memorable event and you get to play with the sauces to find exactly what mix is best for your plate. My final tip is to be sure to remember to save room for the chocolate!!! The s’mores chocolate is the best ;)

This was my second time going to Melting Pot(different locations) for date night and both times were amazing! Food: We got the 4 course dinner that came with cheese fondue, salad, entrée and chocolate fondue. — Cheddar Cheese fondue: DELICIOUSSS. It’s melted cheese with different breads, veggies, green apples and italian meats for extra pay. — House Salad: They don’t drench the salad with dressing, which is a good thing. Their tangy house dressing is a good kind of different. — Fondue Delight: This came with a lobster tail, filet mignon, chicken breast, shrimp and mushroom sacchetti. Can’t remember the broth we chose, but it was one of the most popular ones and had red wine in it. I thought it was a bit much — they poured an entire bottle of wine in it and the taste/smell was really strong. I wasn’t a fan; I felt like we could’ve gotten the complimentary broth(free) and that would’ve been good. Broths other than the complimentary one are extra charge. — Smores Fondue: ALLTHEMELTEDCHOCOLATEGOODNESSINMYMOUTH. It was amazing. Comes with marshmallows, rice krispies, strawberries, brownies and cake. We also got a slice of cheesecake, berries, cream puffs and wafers for extra pay. THECHOCOLATEFONDUEISTHEBESTPART. — Drinks: Blackberry Sage Lemonade with alcohol is really good! The right blend of alcohol and fruitiness. The regular mojito is strong — you can really taste the alcohol. Service: Our waitress, Rebekah, was GREAT. She explained how their menu worked and gave useful input when we made our orders. For instance, we added Italian meats for the cheese fondue and she recommended we only order one plate of it(instead of two). I’m glad we listened to her because one plate was just the right amount — her focus wasn’t on having us order more and more food, but for us to enjoy the food. She also carried on conversation with us and later found out my boyfriend and I were in the military, so she ended up giving us a 15% military discount on the check! Not only was Rebekah attentive, but so was the manager. He had personally come up to our booth to see how our night was going and if we needed anything else. Really great service here! Ambiance: Dim lighting, romantic. The booth we were seated in was closed off in the back so it was very private area! Location: Not the most romantic scenery, considering it’s in a strip mall sorta thing. There’s a tanning and dancing studio right next to it. But don’t let the location bother you! I can more than assure you that the food and service compensate for it =] I would definitely come back again. Just get the cheese and chocolate fondue — that’ll be worth the money!

My favorite is the cheese and chocolate. Very pricey so we normally go as a group and split the bill, they do normally have coupons in the paper. Great for a special date or girls night out.

This place is great but expensive considering you cook your own meal. We have been a few times over the years and I still get nervous that I will under cool something and get sick but it has never happened. The service is great and very knowledgable. They do offer a gluten free menu and this is one of the easiest places for GF people to enjoy… They also carry Estrella Damm gluten free beer as well! Overall very good love all the sauces especially the cocktail it’s just the right heat! Expect dinner to last about 2 hours lots of fun with a group!

We really like this place. We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary there. I felt like a star from the time we walked in the door. Just make sure you have reservations. There were some people that tried to walk in and get tables when we were there who were not able to be seated. They really caused a fuss because they saw empty tables. But even though it was explained that it takes approximately 2 hours and those tables had been reserved, they still gave the hostess a hard time. She handled the those mouthy«customers» with class. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The manager stopped by to make sure we were taken care of. Food was great as was the service. Love the green goddess sauce and the chocolate was to die for! This is our«go to» spot for our special occasions!

I do really enjoy the food here, but I think it is a CRAZY amount to pay for the amount of food you get. Especially if you get a chocolate fondue, there is no where near enough chocolate for the amount of goodies you get on a plate. Like I said, I do really enjoy the food, however, only on a groupon, restaurant week, or special occasion will I return. Oh! And the male manager with curly hair is very caring, HELPS his servers when they were really busy, and made the time and effort to stop by each table to ask how everything was going. If only more restaurants had good managers like this!

I brought my girlfriend here to celebrate four months together. Good things about this Melting Pot location: –The service is phenomenal. Our server was very friendly and personable. She explained everything and made us feel at home. –The dining sections in the back of the restaraunt are very private and romantic. The lighting is good, and the whole place has a nice ambiance to it. –The food is high quality and very good. It is pretty pricey, but I believe you’re paying for the experience. You can get more bang for your buck at other fancy restaurants in terms of food caliber and quantity, but I was not disappointed with the tastiness of the food here. Oh, and the cheese fondu is great, but something about it makes me want to plop a lot of Frank’s hot sauce up in there. Maybe it’s just the man in me, but a little kick would go down gooood.
