Waste Management

OK, I just called them Friday morning to compliment their driver, Mark for going above and beyond when it comes to collection. Kettering OH just switched to curbside and he will leave his truck to grab the bins of the neighbors that forgot. The lady across the street just moved in and had lots of bulk on the curb and Mark put mattresses, box springs, bed frames, furniture and tons of junk in the truck without so much as a whimper. This guy has always had such a positive attitude and I wanted WM to know it. I wish that he did the recycle bins as well.
Now comes Friday evening:
I am a Kettering OH resident whose recycle pick-​up is Friday early morning. We all put the bins out Thursday evening. Well, those bins were NOT emptied Friday (not Marks’ deal) Saturday, or Sunday. The street looks ghetto and the flies are so bad by the sidewalk, even the dogs do not want to walk down the street. I moved from Dayton City to Kettering partly because the streets looked cleaner without cans on the curb. Consider, Sat AM pickup for those of us forgotten on Fridays. PS, my bill just tripled!!! Thanks WM!

Oh my goodness. I would give Waste Management negative stars if I could. I foolishly prepaid for a year of trash service from waste management, ordering (and PAYING for) two trash bins and two recycling bins starting July 9^th. So apparently you are expected to pay for at least a week you can’t use because they will only drop off your bins on a service (meaning a service day you paid for but can’t use). When they finally dropped them off, they only gave me half the order. So I immediately called about this and was told they would fix it, but next trash day comes and they only drop off the trash bin but not the recycling bin. So now I’m paying for yet another week of «service» without the service I paid for! After speaking to two company reps about these issues, it’s obvious they just don’t care because they already have my money. I WILL NEVER USE WASTE MANAGEMENT AGAIN!
