Poor service and I did not like what happened to my hair. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did not feel like I was treated well especially for how much I paid.

Moved here in May and was skeptical about where to get my hair done because I am so picky. Abigail did an awesome job. Probably the best highlights I’ve ever gotten! It’s November now and I will be making an apt with her for next month. I’ve never been able to go 6 months without needing a touch up and I am still rocking the same highlights! I also went in and got a trim about a month ago and she gave me an awesome blowout. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth every penny.

Love love love Kate she was absolutely amazing, did above and beyond what I wanted, love my hair! I’m new to the Daytona area and I searched for four hours to find a beautician, I’m glad that I found her! Can’t wait to book my next appointment with her!

I came here based on Unilocal reviews. Being new to Daytona Beach I needed someone who could do not just a good job, but an AMAZING job with my color.
I went in to visit first and asked which colorist would be best. The receptionist quickly said one person’s name, but I think she was overheard by another colorist (the place is pretty small) because too quickly she indicated that the colorist who was standing behind her (and staring at us) was «the best».
The first, preferred colorist was busy with a client and was wearing the coolest, best funky clothes ever! I know one shouldn’t judge by appearances but I did anyway. The second colorist was not busy and looked a little sloppy and had no flair at all. She looked either sad or scared. But given the pressure and awkwardness I decided to make the appointment with morose, frumpy colorist #2. Ok, all that being said, I realize I only have myself to blame for the lack luster, barely average color job I received. The colorist was polite but not talkative and not even inquisitive about my lifestyle or what hair color/​style would be best suited for me. At the end she barely trimmed the ends at the back and never even touched the front. What little talking she did was to try to get me to buy the salons hair care products.
I guess the result could have been worse, but this was a big flop for me. I have no idea where to look for a colorist in Daytona since Unilocal wasn’t helpful but Orlando is only two hours away… Worth the drive to have a beautiful head of hair!

Dara at Bei Capelli gives the BEST pedicures! The BEST! My toes have never been happier and I’ve never had polish last as long. Dara is a serious professional when it comes to nail care and is a delightful conversationalist. I appreciate that many of the products she uses are natural.

I went to Bei Capellini last week after reading the reviews. A younger girl named Kate did my hair and it turned out amazing! I had very grown out dark roots that stood out against the rest of my hair which I had been dying platinum blonde. I requested an ombré so I could let my natural hair color come back without looking weird. She blended it so well, she left some blonde in as highlights but got the rest close to my natural color but with a tint of red on the bottom half. The end result was beautiful, best hair color I’ve ever had. A bit expensive because I have long hair but was worth it for me.

Wonderful. I went in for a mani pedi. I will DEFINITELY be going back. Clean, serene and cool atmosphere. Oh and reasonable.

I have been having my hair cut and colored for over 10 years now, and have never found a better salon than Bei Capelli. Jillian and Hillary are the best! I always have a great experience there, from having my hair done, to the actual finished result AND their prices are fantastic for the service that you get. Grateful to have found such a great place here in Daytona!

I love this salon, it’s right on beach street! I got amazing treatment, my hair color came out perfect. I was offered a glass of wine countless times. The vibe was welcoming and warm, this is now my go to spot.

I can’t say enough how impressed with this salon every time I visit. When I first found Bei Capelli I was in a pinch– I had a lot of damage to my hair and wasn’t able to have it fixed before I got into town for a wedding.
I met with Jillian who, listened to everything I said and –actually listened! She really calmed me down and I could tell she knew what she was doing. Needless to say, it turned out perfect and she really saved my weekend of eternal pictures!
I wish I didn’t live so far, but I always make it a point to book my cut and color with Jill every time I’m back home now. I’m a believer for sure! xx

This salon is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and actually listens to your needs/​wants. I’m very particular and rarely do I let anyone touch my precious locks. While on vacation several months ago, I needed an emergency cut after having hacked away at my head (I get really scissor happy), creating a HORRIBLE mess. I hesitantly Googled nearby salons and Bei Capelli popped up. and am I ever so glad.
I booked an appointment with Jillian. She made me feel comfortable and cared for. She took my situation with grace and ease and it was equally nice to see that she knew exactly what needed to be done. I went from shoulder length hair with bleach damage to a chin length bob that framed my face perfectly. I have absolutely adored this cut and the layers are growing out beautifully.
My only regret is living so far away! I wish Jill lived in the Atlanta area. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a salon since i moved here over a year ago. Jenny was fabulous! She didn’t act rushed during the whole time and cut my hair perfectly. Its been 2 days and I’ve already had numerous compliments. Another thing that made her stand out: I’ve never had any one ask me after the cut if i wanted anything changed, asked if she cut my hair the exact way i was anticipating, etc. She was very sincere and wanted to do nothing less than a perfect job. Im so glad i found her!

I have been in Florida a few months and between swimming in the ocean, a salt water pool and daily sunshine I was now badly needing my roots touched up, highlights toned down and my dead-​split ends trimmed. However, I was very apprehensive just to walk into anywhere.
My regular hairdresser is near Toronto and I have been going to her for years — she does an amazing job and every time I head in and out of the salon my hair is never the same way twice (always something a bit different and pleasing to the eye)
So based on Unilocal reviews I held my breath and walked into Bei Capelli. I was intending to make an appointment but managed to see Jenny right away. They waited till I headed back to my condo to pick up my hair extensions so we could color-​match the tones of the extensions to my hair color.
My hair was very dry (due to the sun)…Jenny put a conditioning treatment in my hair after doing my roots and lowlights/​highlights. All in all the cost was $ 170 (excluding tip),.
I am pleased:
dead ends are cut off making my hair seem overall healthy
the conditioning treatment helped nourish the hair a little more
the colour is what I wanted (a toned down blonde) — the sun had really bleached my hair to a tone that felt more like trailer blonde to me… so Jenny managed to tone my hair down and still keep the blonde butterscotch tones in my hair.
If you are looking for a decent hairdresser in the area — I recommend this salon.
Décor and coffee are lovely (kind of like a small boutique hair salon), the ladies that work there all seem to do a great job. Absolutely not a cookie-​cutter hair establishment, everyone seemed very pleased with their hair-do’s as I sat before the coming-​n-​goings of the salon.

Based on the very positive reviews, I visited Bei Capelli today for a ‘Classic Pedicure’. I am very particular about how a pedicure done — I want just the right amount of nail length required for the colour and sometimes they file too short, but not here. The Classic consisted of a lovely warm foot soak, followed by cuticle work and dermabrasion, and then a great foot/​lower leg exfoliation and gorgeous conditioning before the colour was applied. A good choice of colours, too. I always like a base coat, then two colour coats and a clear top coat, and Cheryl did this as the norm. The end result was terrific. I’ve tried not to be too effusive here (we Brits are an understated bunch!) but I’ve had loads of pedicures in the past and this is honestly the best I’ve had.
The location is just west of Beach Street (1 minute walk) on Intl Speedway Blvd with plenty of parking and really fast wi-​fi. Only $ 45 for an hour of pampering! They also offered me a glass of wine which was a nice touch.
Cheryl was absolutely lovely — I’ll be back every time I visit my friends in Holly Hill. Thanks a lot everyone.

I came to Daytona from Atlanta and needed a last minute cut and color before a big event. I found Bei Capelli and booked an appointment with Jillian. I’m really particular about my hair (especially my bangs) and I voiced that to Jillian. She listened to all of my concerns and was very diligent and careful about every cut she made. The color was perfect and the salon was not what I would expect of a «beach salon.» It’s very modern and up to date, and they sell really nice products. If I lived in Daytona, I would regularly make appointments with Jillian!

After a poor experience with a «bargain salon» in middle school, I’ve been pretty selective on where I go to get my hair done. I recently moved back to the Daytona Beach area and was in need of a great salon. I found Suzie and Bei Capelli and my search is over! Suzie is amazing! She does such a great job and really listens to what I want, while making great recommendations. I don’t know if she takes notes on what we talk about each time or if her memory is just THAT good, but we always seem to pick up our conversation right where we left off eight weeks earlier.
The location is great — I love to support Downtown Daytona and Beach Street businesses. And the atmosphere is great, too! Prices are still way better than what I paid in Atlanta. I highly recommend Suzie and Bei Capelli.

My experience at Bei Capelli was extraordinary! I’m a city girl from San Francisco and feel so fortunate to have discovered this exceptional salon in Daytona Beach while visiting my parents.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by Debbie. She was so gracious and made me feel right at home. We talked about my hair situation and discussed options. She was so patient with all my questions and gave me really insightful feedback. I learned a lot!
My hair color turned out beautiful! I couldn’t be happier! Debbie did a great job, taught me a lot and made the entire experience a dream come true!

When I was a student living in Daytona I asked a friend of mine (who had great hair) where she got her hair done, and Bei Capelli was her answer. I’m SO glad I followed her recommendation! Suzie always did a great job cutting my hair and giving me exactly what I asked for. The atmosphere in the salon is wonderful, and it always felt like such a relaxing treat to go there.
The location is wonderful as well, as it’s right off of Beach St. They’re just steps away from some of the best food and coffee in Daytona!
Now that I’ve moved away I definitely miss going there! Daytona can be lacking in a lot of things, but at least there is a great hair salon!

This salon is in downtown Daytona Beach. The décor is beautiful, inviting with a contemporary flair. But while the space is great that is not why they earn my five star rating. The just do great hair. There are just a few stylists but they are each very talented. Today I go blonde!
