My wife and I ate here on a Saturday afternoon. It was us and 2 other people. The place looks like a store showroom they threw tables in. The service was slow but the Black and Bleu burger was one of the best I’ve had. It seems like a fun place but someone needs to get a handle on the service or they will never make it.

First and last time for me. Was not busy and waited way too long for our food and drink order to be taken. Once food was finally brought one order was wrong. I had the greasiest burger I ever had. No silverware brought to table. My friend had coleslaw so needed a fork. Bad experience…

Big, open dining room… it looks like a night club someone decided to put tables in… sadly it means that the performer numbers go on FOREVER. Stopped into check the place out while scoping out Daytona… it seems to be the only really«gay» establishment in the city. The bartenders were super friendly and the drinks well made. I tried their«home made» quacamole, which was OK. The menu seems pretty standard to a Mary’s.

First visit. It was VERY early for a lunch — to get the full experience, the time to go is for a show or not when they first open. The staff was friendly and fun — the food was great — I recommend you go for the food, come back for a show — what I plan to do.

I went here last night with my best friend. We went for a girls night out, because we love drag queens! The show was wonderful! The girls were so beautiful, hilarious, and friendly. The lights on stage were really cool, and the music was fun. The only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because my burger sucked. This was the second time I had been here, and they screwed my burger up both times! For having hamburger in the name of the establishment, I thought they’d have good burgers. Our server was sweet. I ordered the Mac n cheese burger which is a great concept, and probably would have been delicious if it wasn’t a hockey puck of a patty. I ordered it medium-MEDIUM when it arrived it was so over cooked the edges were burnt. Just yuck. The saving grace food wise was my cold, but delicious onion rings, and the loaded tots. The drinks were expensive, and on the weak side. Over all, I will come back for the shows, but not the food.

Beautiful performers. Awesome drinks. But«eh» service by the cook and wait staff. Got our orders wrong and we waited forever to get our food. The show experience was subpar. Performers spent 1 minute of the song on stage and spent the remaining 5 min cruising the audience for tips. Music was super loud. We were unable to talk while the performers made their way around the room. We were pretty disappointed. :/

Great place to hang out for a drink, eat dinner and even enjoy a show. Don’t miss it. Have been to the ones in Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Jacksonville and Ybor City. Fun for all.

Did I spend too much money? Yes. Did I have fun doing it? YES. Me and my group showed up 40 minutes before the 9:30pm show. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks; the bartender was very friendly and helpful(and made a great cosmo). We were later seated for the show, which was fantastic! The ladies(gentlemen?) put a lot of heart and fun into it. The food was pretty good. I had a nice salad and some tasty sliders. It does all get a bit expensive between the food, drinks, and tipping there server/queens but it was all worth it. I had a ton of fun!

This place is awesome the food is wonderful even though it’s just burgers but they have expanded the menu and things are looking good for the place. The waitstaff is right on the ball. That show it is quite a thing ! Congrats to the new owner you’ve done a great job.

To address other reviewers… the sound system is improved and sounds great. The food is very good. The beer is very cold. The vibe is fun. The space is huge and still keeps a «family» feel. The best part of any Hamburger Mary’s is that all are welcome… all the time… except ignorant d-bags…stay home.

The show was good. Wished there was more action on the stage, instead of in the crowd. But, I do realize that is how they make their tips. The food was ok. Wish there were some healthier items. The drinks were fabulous and strong. Our server was sweet, polite and great. A really fun evening. They say they are family friendly. But, I’d say not for younger children. Definitely a lot of sexual innuendos. The place was packed for the 7:30 show last night, 11÷21÷15. A nice loud crowd. We’ll definitely be back! Next time with a group! My only suggestion would be to better train servers, in regards to properly bringing out food. Maybe not shouting:“whose got the buger?” Or, using the knife in the buger to lift up the bun to see what was on it. Just sayin.

I was there Saturday, 11/07/2015, to celebrate a friends 99th birthday. Yes, that’s right. She’s more hip than I am. The show was wonderful. The wait-staff needs to have more training or they need more wait staff. The food was good. I felt the performers were terrific but the venue could have been more upscale to respect the performers. Nonetheless, I will go again. They are nice performers and I enjoyed their show.

Great food and excellent entertainers but the venue not like any other Hamburger Mary’s I’ve been to. Sound system needed some tweaking as you couldn’t hear any of the vocals. Turn up those speakers over the stage. It’s unfortunate that the performers have to troll the audience for tips as you spend most of their 8 minute long numbers staring at an empty stage. At least turn up the house lights so we can at least see others enjoying the show.

Amazing food and entertainment! Something going on every night of the week with happy hour and a burger special during the week! The food is great, the bird of paradise is my favorite! The drinks are great and big! The owners and staff are awesome. They’re professional yet have lots of fun and there’s always different themes and uniforms. This place is somewhere you go to HAVEFUN. If you want a boring night out then don’t go here! But If you’re looking for fun exciting entertainment and some great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, then this needs to be on your to do list. You’ll have a great time!

I went here for a lunch date with my sister and it was amazing I can’t wait to go back for an actual show. We got to meet the owner(who we didn’t know was an owner until way into our meal). He sat at the bar with us for a while and was so nice. Our bartender was Kip he’s a super cool curly haired guy you can’t miss him. He helped us pick out drinks and even tweaked them to what we liked(peach schnapps for me). The food was amazing! Even though they weren’t offering the full menu yet, there was still plenty to choose from for my vegetarian sister and carnivorous me. I can’t wait to go back for a drag show and and to see how the place continues to develop. So glad they brought this chain to Daytona. I’ll be visiting every time I’m in town. P. S. Get the sweet potato fries they’re amazeballs

Good food for a great price… I ordered the BLT(I know I know it’s Hamburger Mary’s). The inside is festive and I’m told they have celebrity impersonators. Overall the atmosphere is quaint and festive.

Disclaimer: This review does not reflect the performance, which deserves a much higher rating, but rather the deplorable food and management which needs a drastic change immediately. Go for the Mary, and skip the Hamburger. While I am so grateful that there is a new gay hotspot in town(badly needed since Hollywood Cantina closed), I am sorry that this new venture seems to be having a rough start. We arrived at 6:30 sharp for«dinner» before the sold-out 7:30 show. The menu is not that same as the Church St. location, and only offers burgers and sandwiches. I imagine this is out of necessity because of kitchen limitations. Not only did our food come out sporadically(each person served separately) but it was cold and tasteless. My friend’s sandwich came out three separate times, actually. First, twenty minutes before ours started to arrive, and without all the required ingredients. Second, with her husband’s meal(a stone cold quesadilla), which was fine except for a large thumbprint left by the server. And third, after we had all finished our tepid and mediocre meals. So the food sucks, don’t eat there. Next. The venue is large(back in the Coliseum days, this was called The Spot) and perfectly adequate for the show and stage, which is great; however, the music was WAYTOOLOUD. Even our server complained about it. It wasn’t just loud, it was distorted and scratchy. Very low tech and frankly amateurish. Speaking of amateur, the décor was a mess. Pink walls paired with plaid tablecloths are not what I’d expect from the second location of a well known Orlando hotspot. As for the show, I saw many familiar and beautiful faces. The one exception was the obviously owner-mandated YMCA rendition by the hapless servers. I implore the management to halt this sad display immediately. Those poor girls hate you for making them do that, as do we. But I digress. The featured performers were doing their best in the situation, but having to bring a towel onstage during a performance to wipe off the sweat should be a sign to the manager to turn down the AC. Too freaking hot. Those ladies spend way too much money on their makeup to have it melt off before they even get on stage. We in the audience were sweltering also. At the least they could get some fans up in there. We left before it was over. So, to recap: Eat at a different downtown spot before you go(I suggest Zen Bistro). If you plan on having more than two drinks, have a drink before you go(the show is only $ 2, so the drinks are $ 10 to make up for it). Wear earplugs, dress for sauna, and bring lots of one or five dollar bills. The performers deserve big tips for working in those conditions. And boy do they work. You go, Mary.

The hottest new place in town! The burgers were great and the show was better. I can’t wait to go back. It is a new place and will get even better! This is just the place that downtown Daytona needs!

Yeah, this isn’t a restaurant. I think it’s a gay bar. Judging by the techo music, pink walls and drag queen shows I might be right. I didn’t stay to eat or watch the show. I just wanted a burger. It’s like a bait and switch, come on in for a burger, but there’s a surcharge while we entertain you with drag queens and waiters with flowers in their hair. If it’s a gay bar why don’t you name it something that clues people in so you can attract the right clientele and warn the others.
