Bought a DJI Phantom 3 battery from them, really could of bought it cheaper on Amazon but figured they were a local business and I would get to «shop local». They sold me a bad battery for $ 169 and then held the battery while sending me (the next time I was in town) to some warehouse in Port Orange to meet some woman named Elizabeth whom they gave me a telephone number for so she can exchange it. I tried more than 10 times to contact this phantom «elizabeth» and NEVER was able to talk to her. After they had my battery back for weeks and told me they would take care of it on exchange, they sent me a text from the phantom «elizabeth» line saying «Hi Allen, you are past our allowed return date set by DJI, you have 30 days for returning dead out of box to us, after that time you need to send to DJI. It is pretty easy go to
and download a return form, ship it to them and they will send a replacement, sorry this is out of my hands, batteries are marked with a date code and they know when I sold it.» I called and left yet another message saying this time that this «texts» way of business communication isn’t professional. I went to the store and told someone that finally retrieved my battery from somewhere in the back office that I would also tell all of my RC buddies at the flying field about the poor way they treated a local RC enthusiast «which I am in the process of doing». As I was pulling out, some man… Maybe the Phantom «elizabeth»? Came out and tried to explain away the sorry treatment I received and saying that he had no way to help. I will never buy anything again from this business and I also have the concensus of a few friends that also told me about mediocre verbal reviews of this hobby store. To sum this up… Don’t buy anything from them. You think the extra money you pay for their overpriced stuff will come with customer service and support. Sadly, it seems their business plan is to sell it and forgot you.

Went in there on my lunch break to quickly purchase a sub $ 100 drone for my a friends son. He is interested in buying a DJI and wanted to get a cheap one to practice on. I was talked into buying a $ 89 drone with an extra battery, he explained the flight time would be 8 – 9 min. Ok no problem. Finally opened it with him yesterday. The box looked previously opened since a few items were out of place, the batteries were already in the controller, the micro sd card was out of its holding slot and the instructions were crinkled. Honestly as long as it works I didn’t really care they sold me a used one since its cheap and will probably get destroyed anyway. Charged both batteries according to the instructions. After two separate flight times of under a minute I realized both the batteries were shot as they would not charge after a SINGLE charge and two flights of a minute. I looked online realized the drone the sold me was a POS and had many complaints and most people recommended another route on top of the fact that every store had the device listed 20−30% cheaper. I cut my losses packed the thing up exactly as it had come (open) headed back to the store. I bought it a week ago opened it yesterday both batteries were not working after one use on top of the device being used. They literally gave me two new batteries and refused to even give me store credit. Yeah as pissed as I was my fault for trying to give business to a local shop. Get home and tried it again one of the engines blew… Never going there again. Obviously they don’t care about their customers on top of their 30% markups. Steer clear.
