Can I please get a local place to make a decent café mocha? Our drinks were overpriced and awful. Trying to support local but can’t get consistency.

A nice independent coffee and donut shop to stop off at breakfast or lunch. They have sandwiches for breakfast or lunch plenty of fresh made donuts and very good coffee. Several different areas to sit inside nothing really outside. There is also a drive-through if you’re just needing to pick something up. If you want to try a donut shop that is not one of the big brand places this is a great option.

Donuts were really fresh and tasty! Lots of options. I am not a coffee drinker but I did get a latte and it was good too. Service was fine, they took my order right away.

Used to be a nice place but the staff didn’t seem to care much and the coffee I received tasted like it was brewed the night before. Dunkin donuts have better tasting sandwhiches.

Stood at the counter for 5 minutes before the girl came to wait on me this morning. I was the only customer in the place. And no wonder either, it smelled like wet dogs instead of hot fresh doughnuts. I think I’ll stick to Krispy Kreme from now on. Can’t even eat the doughnuts I bought there cause that smell is in them too. Nasty.

PSA: The coffee here is good again! I had stopped coming to the place because suddenly the coffee would always be weak and awful and the guy behind the counter would put sugar in it even when you asked him not to. In fact, *especially* if you asked him not to.(«Ah, sugar, yes!») But after a few years, I came back and the coffee was fine again. The pastries are OK. Not much atmosphere, but friendly.

The coffee is good. The servers are friendly. It is a dated and a little dusty. Better than a gas station coffee

I appreciate the freshness and quality of the food here. I also appreciate hot food they serve. The coffee is good, not as pricey as Starbucks, but a but a bit high. Enjoy coming here

Java Junction is one of Holly Hill’s most redeeming qualities. Good coffee, breakfast sandwiches, a nice variety of doughnuts and other pastries, indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I’m only living here temporarily, but I’ll be visiting this place frequently while I can.

Great customer service. We used the drive thru — good prices and good food. We didn’t know anything about it but we’re driving past on our way out of town, noticed the full parking lot and stopped. We weren’t disappointed.

Great customer service! I always use the drive-thru and I always have a pleasant experience. Prices are reasonable and the donuts are not bad. Donuts that I have tasted have not been overly sweet and I appreciated that. Sometimes parking can be tricky asd the drive-thru line snakes through the parking lot if it gets too long. Also, there’s no intercom system with the drive-thru. You actually order at the window.

Good coffee decent prices. Free wifi, plenty of comfortable seating, clean, no annoying loud coffee shop music. They also serve food — bagel sandwiches, donuts, and muffins. I had large mocha coffee and cranberry orange muffin for about $ 5. The muffin was delicious. The coffee was good, pretty much like other coffee shops, nothing special. Ok place for studying, only the back corner table has an electrical outlet nearby for plugging in a laptop if needed(that I can see). While sitting in the restaurant, I heard other customers coming in for the half off donuts after 1pm. I haven’t tried the donuts so can’t comment on the quality, but they seem to have a good variety. I also like that’s it’s not corporate, the owners are super nice and friendly.

Went there today with the family and service was very friendly and the place was very clean! Ordered a chippity chip frappé and it was delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Decent little coffee shop, they have outdoor seating and it seems pretty popular. Breakfast sandwich was good, donut was quite tasty, and the coffee is excellent!

Good coffee and donuts with decent breakfast sandwiches. Service was sweet, but very slow for walk-in customers. Next time I go I’ll take the drive-in.

I was introduced to Java by my brother who lives in Daytona. I am hooked. After having donuts here, I really cannot get myself to eat donuts anywhere else. Their coffee is also fresh and tasty. I love the neighborhood hospitality. On my last visit, before my flight back to Jerz, we stopped there at 5am when they weren’t quite open. My bro took a chance and knocked on the door; they greeted us with smiles, and made a fresh pot of coffee for us. Always get the choc and red velvet donut holes! so good!

All right, no one has reviewed Java Junction? This just proves to me that not too many people in Daytona are on Unilocal.Probably because there is no Unilocal community for Daytona. No wonder I never even thought of looking for reviews on Unilocal when I lived in the area. Oh yeah, anyway, the restaurant… Used to be I would give it 4 stars. Nice little basic coffee shop with really good home made donuts. Not too comfortable an atmosphere where you would want to hang out all day. Not hip(what place in Daytona is?) But decent coffee and excellent donuts. Do not think they have wifi. But recently made a quick visit into town and was disappointed. I think they may have changed ownership. Tried a coupla bites of a coupla donuts and… eh. Also they repeated on me. I think the fact that I only managed a couple of bites of a DONUT speaks volumes!
