We were very disappointed with our experience here. The wait was ½ hour, which was fine, and it was a busy night, but it took too long for our server to get our order because he had to bus his own tables and was preoccupied with that. We ordered clam strips which were on the menu but our server came back and said they don’t even carry them anymore, so we ordered the sampler platter. It took 50 minutes for us to get our appetizer and 70 minutes to get our food. The food was good, but the wait was ridiculous to get it. We won’t be back.

Great place, awesome food and drinks, and a lot of fun! We sat up on the deck and enjoyed the music and sunshine. Later we went downstairs to enjoy some appetizers from the happy hour menu. The bartender Scott was fabulous. He provided great service and made the experience perfect. Thanks for a fun time! I highly recommend a stop here!

Really neat location! The restaurant sits on a pier and, if you find a nearby parking spot, you should go exploring the surrounding area. Our family went during bike week and the restaurant didn’t seem over crowded and our waitress was great. Our only complaint is that parking is a bit difficult during this time of year.

Enjoyed our food last night and the waiter was pleasant. Came back today about 3:45 for happy hour drinks on Fat Tuesday. Waitress is good but the«bartender» is a waste of space. Waitress goes behind bar to get drinks as he’s too busy talking to his 2 customers

Very nice location, on the pier at Daytona Beach :-) Out waiter, Tim, was excellent! We enjoyed the happy hour with $ 2 calamari — yum ! Also, the $ 2 Hurricane drinks. Also, clam chowder and peel & eat shrimp !! The best! We may be coming back on Thursday for the $ 15 whole Maine Lobster!!! Yes, we recommend and will return here :-) :-) :-)

Food was good but the service was slow, didn’t seem very busy but took a while to get drinks and sides. Our server was still very friendly and the whole family enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere is really comfortable. Over all I enjoyed my dining experience

I’ve never been to an indoor restaurant that allows its patrons to bring their two dogs inside to eat with them… In a stroller. AND feed them table scraps. If that isn’t a health code violation, it should be. Like a clean environment with clean food? Go elsewhere.

So I usually love Joe’s even though I know it’s massively overpriced. But we had a free app and it was $ 15 lobsters and $ 2 miller lights and margaritas, so what the hell. Service was subpar — waitress didn’t know much and wasn’t terribly communicative. Crab nachos were awesome. 4 of us ordered lobsters with various sides. Salads looked pretty good, clam chowder was apparently cold. I got corn and potatoes with my lobster. Good thing, because these lobsters w er re super small and pretty devoid of meat. The $ 15 promo is clearly a way to clear out the lame duck lobsters. Fortunately, mine and my wife’s were both fully in tact. Both my inlaws’ however were missing a claw. This is bull in my book. Restaurant was nice and cool, although my beer wasn’t very cold or refreshing. Steampots for 2 are still the way to go. Hopefully the staff is better next time.

This experience could have gone horribly wrong. It’s in the most touristy part of Daytona, parking can be insane and it could have been crazy crowded. But we experienced none of that. And my mom wanted crab legs for her birthday, and my mom is the best, so off we went. We ubered to the location, so no parking issues. It was a Wednesday night, so not crazy crowded. And not a single service issue, the hostess seated us immediately(outside with the great ocean and beach views) and Domingo our server never missed a beat when it came to more drinks, food or anything we wanted. Sure, a few of the shrimp were a little over cooked, but that’s gonna happen in a steam pot sometimes. I went with the Ragin Cagin and it was full of flavor and spice, and I enjoyed and finished almost the entire thing!(The only thing I didn’t care for was the potatoes, but come on now, I’m here for the crab legs!) After we were finished and ordered a slice of key lime to go(a little sweet but a huge piece mom and I shared later) they made us do a chicken dance while they sang is happy birthday. Hilarious and fun. The bathrooms were clean, food was good and the company even better. Can’t be mad at ya Joe’s, but I wouldn’t dare venture here during a spring break, race or bike week. ;)

Came here on an off night. It’s the first week of December, rainy and about a 30mph wind off the water. Place still has a good buzz and our server Joshua had been great. Would like to visit here when the weather is a lot nicer.

We came during Turkey Rod Run(one of the busiest times of the year). As a party of 12! Derek(the bartender) is amazing! He makes the best drinks! Our service staff was on point. The kitchen staff was ok… Half our food was not served together, however our manger(Ryan Hickman) handled it so well! We will absolutely come again!!!

I love this place, and I love seafood. The only thing I would say that’s not good then that’s a little pricy. But I still loving coming here. Since last week they have something new — All you can eat Snow Crab! That’s a really good deal. This Wednesday I went there and that was a guy sever named Seth I believe, he is really good and very patience. Food is great and server is nice! I love Joe’s Crab Shack! I hope this good deal will last long!

Came here on a Thursday night for the first day of Biketoberfest and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Carrie, was awesome, knew the menu extremely well, and checked on us every few minutes even though the place was packed. We ordered a Mahi Mahi dish with guava sauce, rice and veggies, and another dish of grilled salmon(sorry, I forgot what accompanied it). The dishes tasted incredible. The Mahi was new to the menu and although the guava sauce may sound as an odd twist to the fish, it really makes all the difference. It was delicious and balanced just right with the fish. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. One thing worth mentioning is the atmosphere at this place. All the employees seem to get along really well and that makes the place feel very welcoming. Everyone is friendly and they all participate on birthday songs and other celebrations. One of the servers even started a random conga line and others jumped in. They also had a balloon guy for the kids that want those balloon swords or balloon crowns. The great atmosphere was a great backdrop to the delicious meal. I’ve never been to any of the crab shacks and will be a while before I return to another so I don’t know if it’s a normal thing or if it was because of Biketoberfest. All in all, I highly recommend this place. The only thing that will disappoint you the entire night is looking down at your dish and seeing there’s no food left.

I came here during bike-tober with coworkers so a crowd of 9. It was later in the evening when we arrived, but we were accommodated quickly and got to our table. We first ordered a variety of appetizers from the sampler, to nachos, mozzarella sticks, to calamari. Then got our variety in drinks ordered from hurricane to Bloody Mary, each single drink was made great and no one complained about anything. Then various entries were ordered and that is where all the fun came in. From opening up the grabs to using those cool little gadgets they provide you to open up the lobsters/crab legs with. We all had such a great time, enjoyed the food so much, we ended up ordering dessert to go, and that was as good as everything else. I’d recommend getting the raging Cajun because the spice was just perfect for the various seafood and sides that were provided. Everything was so good, I’d definitely come back here. Our table of 9 definitely enjoyed themselves to say the least.

Holy endless summer trio and crispy calamari! We wanted a quick bite after the board walk and we were thoroughly impressed with the staff friendliness, décor, scenery, and most importantly the FOOD! The giant serving of calamari was crunchy and the squid wasn’t ‘rubbery’. It comes with their orange dipping sauce which they should sell by the jar, delish! We also had their seasonal dish, the endless summer trio. Shrimp, crispy crab fries & great balls of fire. A heavenly triplet if I do say so myself. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you’re in the area, Joe’s will surely have you hooked! ;)

I wasn’t quite sure how to rate this place because some things were GREAT and somethings were not. VIEW: 5 stars We went just before sunset, which was absolutely perfect. BEER: 4 stars Not a very huge selection, but cheap prices for such a touristy place, so I was happy! FOOD: 1 star Now, as a vegetarian, I suppose I brought it upon myself going to a seafood place, but I really wanted to sit by the ocean! If you don’t eat seafood, you’re pretty much limited to mozzarella sticks or a cheese pizza. I would definitely recommend for some drinks and a nice view.

I stayed at The Hilton Hotel and couldn’t help but stare at Joe’s from my ocean view room each night so I decided to check it out. I walked along the pier around 5pm on a weekday and found a spot at the bar. It wasn’t too busy when I got there, but the crowd steadily flowed in within a gal hour or so. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and had a look at the menu. Great options for seafood lovers or even if you’re in the mood for a burger. I wasn’t starving but I was in the mood for some seafood. The bartender(I forget his name!) was extremely friendly and very helpful. I mentioned that I wasn’t too hungry and that I love lobster and crab and he suggested the crabs from the ‘add onto your entrée option’ which I’m glad he did because I assumed you had to purchase an entrée in order to do so and was just going to settle with a bowl of their delicious creamy lobster bisque soup. Well, I went ahead with his crab recommendation and it came out in a timely matter and it was great! It was the perfect portion, a fair share of meaty crab and steamed in delicious garlic butter(which the bartender also recommended). I would definitely recommend this place. Plus, you really can’t beat the view — No matter where you sit!

Joe’s Crab Shack is one of my favorite destination in whatever city were staying. Love Happy Hour(the drinks aren’t skimpy or diluted. 4 – 7 and 9-close M-F. Great $ 5 appetizers. And my favorite is to order a side off the anytime menu($ 2.99). We love $ 2 Twosdays.
