Outback Steakhouse

Food is good and their variety. Service is friendly and fast. The only thing that I didn’t like was my coffee. They served it cold and I was left wondering whether they thought I ordered an ice coffee. Originally, I wanted to order hot chocolate. Assuming that all restaurant serve hot chocolate, this one did not. I ended up ordering coffee which I expected to be hot not cold. Otherwise the overall service and food are good.

Last night I went to dinner with my great aunt and uncle as I’m visiting various restaurants while I’m staying with relatives in Florida. They opted for Outback Steakhouse, which I had eaten once before in Pennsylvania. Upon arriving to Outback there was very limited parking available – seemed like a busy night. They are in a prime location right by the track, so I imagine it is a mad house during race time.
We were greeted by a couple of hosts who were up front, and they very all smiles and very pleasant. We were seated immediately at a booth right near the kitchen. It was very busy. Many people going in and out of the kitchen. I didn’t mind it. But my great uncle was not keen on it, he said next time he would rather not be seated there.
The server was very nice. Her name was Christine. A+, Five star service. She was very attentive and went along with my uncle’s corny jokes. It was a good overall experience. She brought our food out very quickly, made sure we had everything we needed, too.
I ordered the barbecue chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Serving size was just right. I finished my entire meal, and was stuffed! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes had the right amount of seasoning. Highly recommended.
My aunt and uncle had lamb, baked potato, and pork chops. At first, the meat was too raw for them. So Christine quickly corrected this issue, and the manager even came out to make sure my aunt and uncle were happy with everything. The manager was very nice, and accommodating. They were satisfied once the meat was cooked a bit more to their liking.
Overall, I would definitely say the service and food was great. There were just some minor things such as seating, and it was a bit crowded for our liking.

Our server Jonathan made the experience awesome! Had a blackberry martini (only $ 4) and it was great! Stayed with the volcano lobster and shrimp appetizer, it was good. The lobster was the best. Ordered the tilapia with crab meat and it was very good.

It’s a shame when a place with «steakhouse» in its name can’t properly cook a steak. We both ordered medium rare, and got rare. My husband’s rib eye was almost half inedible fat and gristle, and the rest was rare to raw. Service at the bar was just ok. Oh well, sadly we have vine to expect this from this chain, two locations in Pinellas county, this one, and a total of five different meals, this is becoming the norm. Too bad, this was a great place once upon a time.

Overall a decent meal, service was adequate and marginally attentive. My steak was well seasoned and fairly tender. Asked for medium and came out Med/​well.
I really don’t like the fact they leave water pitchers out and uncovered on the back of booths near the entrance!!!

Solid 4 star rating. Not bad for a chain. I had their standard cheeseburger and fries. They cooked the burger perfectly to medium. For some reason I really enjoyed the fries. Very good.
Fast and courteous service. Great option for a relatively quick and tasty meal.

The food was very good, what I would expect from an Outback. The service was fast and friendly.

Wonderful food! Came out fast and hot… Our waitress Kimberly was very attentive to our refills and how we were doing! Although it was $ 80 with tip just for 2 people I would definitely go back.

The staff at this branch are phenomenal. The food is what I expect from every other branch. Out of the 3 of us that came here only one of our salads had croutons but the friendliness of the staff makes up for this small inconsistency.

Poor service. Lies upon lies.
Prepare to wait three hours for cold food.
We came in here trying to grab dinner after our five hour flight.
The hostess told us the wait would be 25 minutes. This turned into 40. Then when we asked again, they told us it’d be another 20.
Poor establishment.
Overstaffed for what? Cut the employees.
All they do as stand around and get mad at you for asking when you can be seated.
