We visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day, only because we arrived in town late and felt we would have trouble getting a reservation. This place had a fairly empty parking lot and 4 stars. It certainly lived up to its reputation. Friendly wait staff, great food, and a cultural atmosphere. We started with the fresh rolls and egg rolls. Both delicious, accompanied by tasty sauces. My husband ordered a large phở dish with mixed noodles, chicken, pork and shrimp. I ordered shrimp stir fried dish with crispy noodles. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Here is where the minus one star comes in. When I chose what I wanted, a shrimp stir fry, the waiter suggested crispy egg noodles. I had never had them that way and was then excited to try it. He came back to say the dish I ordered didn’t come with those noodles. For two dollars more, I could get the dish that did come with with that option, but it had squid, fish ball, and crab. Ok, I decided it was worth it, but please leave out the squid. When my dish arrived, it had only shrimp(6 small ones) and no other fish for the higher price. Also, my husbands original choice was a dish with wontons. The waiter said sorry out of wontons. I saw other reviewers say this happened to them, all different times. Seems they are often out of wontons? But overall, I liked this place enough that I am wanting to go back before I leave next week.

I will have to say being Daytona I was a little hesitant going to a Phở place. But boy was I surprised. This was one of the best Phở restaurants I’ve been to. Hearty, fresh, hot! Been to some in California and this was better. Hands down.

The phở here is good, service is pretty good the staff is always friendly, but it seems to take a while. I think the price would be a little more appropriate a dollar or two less, BUT I like the phở. No reason to not go here and enjoy a quality bowl. Just don’t expect it to be the best you’ve ever had.

Not many phở options so this was one of the only places. The food was fine if you’re really in the mood for vietnamese, but otherwise, just drive the 1hr and 30 minutes to orlando to get really good vietnamese. The service was spotty. Server didn’t understand what and how many we were trying to order. It think they were a bit overwhelmed. Nothing stood out to be to so awesome. The broth is not phở broth. Like I said, if you really have to eat vietnamese in Daytona, then come, otherwise, skip it.

I am from California and here on vacation. I have to admit I was weary of a Vietnamese restaurant away from little Saigon, but I was pleasantly surprised and can say that the food is outstanding being 3000 miles away from home!

If it weren’t for their small phở portion size in accordance to its high price, then this phở restaurant would have received 5 stars. Walking in, my family and I were greeted by the kindest owner who seemed very passionate about her business – a good thing to see. As for the food, we ordered phở, a chicken clay pot, and a grilled pork Banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich). The phở came in a disappointingly small portion size for the price(10.95 for large). It was sized similarly to Smalls in other restaurants. However, I thought the phở was delicious. The ingredients were fresh as I could taste each individual slice of flank as well as a flavorful stock that left my taste buds craving for more. Next, the clay pot was made exquisitely, with a harmonious blend of sauce, chicken, vegetables, and rice that had me stealing spoonfuls out of my fathers dish when he wasn’t looking. Lastly, the Banh Mi. I have never had such a highly delectable Banh mi. The French bread was perfectly crispy and warm on the touch, and then the vegetables also had a slight crisp to them. Additionally, the grilled pork was seasoned in a way that engulfed the meat in a thick, sweet sauce which tied all parts of the banh mj together. Definitely would come here again if I were in the Daytona region again.

Pretty nice place, my girlfriend and I went, it was my first time dabbling in this genre of cuisine. The waitress helped me decide what we good. The price was good for what we got we didn’t leave hungry that’s for sure. Tasty meals, atmosphere was nice not like a cheesy Chinese buffet or anything. Over all nice place to go for a date or just experimental tasting of worldly foods.

Maybe I came on a bad night, the food was subpar… I’m Vietnamese by the way, I eat Phở all around the world, from Saigon to Paris to L. A… This was by far the worst broth ever… It took 10 minutes to bring me a non flavored, watered down bowl of soup… even the meat didn’t taste that good. I had a bad feeling when the waiter didn’t speak a word of Vietnamese, and it was confirmed upon delivery of my Phở, if I can call it that… Add insult to injury, I got the large and it’s sized like a bowl of soup in Vietnam(super small) and priced like an extra extra large in America… Luckily, I had ordered a sandwish to go and found myself eating it right there to satisfy my hunger… The sandwish was okay, the meat was flavourful but wasn’t necessarily grilled to perfection… If it wasn’t for the sandwish, I would have given this just 1 star… The service was nice otherwise… the staff is really nice, but review wise, that goes out of the door when you’re not satisfied food wise… Would I come back or recommend it to anyone? No, this place is overly expensive and the food is far from good… I hate to say this because I really like to support my Vietnamese restaurants, but this place is for tourists who don’t know anything about our food… it sure sounds exotic to them, but not to me… Again, maybe I came on a bad night, but I’m not giving them another chance for sure…

In Daytona, this is my go-to vietnamese restaurant. My colleagues and I make it our business to come here whenever we’re in town. Lots of choices on the menu. The ingredients are fresh. In my bowl of Phở, I can count on my veggies still have a slight crisp when I bite into them. No soggy mess here! For appetizer, we usually start with their bacon wrapped shrimp and Spring Rolls. After that it’s either their large bowl of traditional Phở. This past week, I went with their fried rice. It had plenty of chicken, veggies, pork, and was made to perfection. I’ll be back soon!

Good Phở, but I’ve had my fair share of Phở to say that this is very expensive Phở. Nonetheless, it is probably the best Phở in town & you can’t beat that!

Not first time here, but the owner and servers are so sweet and kind! Really impressed me! I order the beef clay pot, this reminds me of the childhood food in my hometown(not Vietnam though). The food is awesome and I can’t stop eating. And I also love the boba milk tea here. That’s a must! I personally recommend the coconut and taro flavor! It’s either good for one or a party to enjoy meal here. Will come here more!

Everything I’ve tried is on point. One of the best places in Daytona to eat. #33 is freaking good.

Was really excited to try their phở since the restraurant had good reviews, but while the cook and waiter were very nice and accomdating I was sadly unimpressed with the food. They were kind enough to make mine with extra veggies which was good but the broth was very bland and oily. The noodles were also overcooked to the point if being mush. I was so disappointed as I’d have likely eaten there once a week had it been good. I can’t attest to anything else on the menu, but the staff was friendly and though a little dark the restraunant itself was nice with an tables outside to eat.

«Phở’k yeah!» Okay so we didn’t even have the phở – I just wanted to say«phở’k yeah» BUT the Clay pot dishes are amazing! Also the skillet dish – on the menu it is «L5.» The sweet tea is also very unique and delicious using an Asian-style tea instead of the traditional tea that goes with iced tea. Also had the shrimp wonton appetizer(basic), fresh rolls with peanut sauce(peanut sauce was one of the best I’ve had) were excellent, and the crab rangoons(these are just your basic but we always get them). The fried ice cream dessert is something I’ve never had. It’s actually been deep fried-the outside is a dough but the interior is solid ice cream. Sweet and a perfect end to a great meal.

I consider myself a phở-king Phở Lover. I eat it once a week. Phở at this place is phở-king terrible. The soup base is terrible. It’s like they used a powdered soup base and not a quality all day simmer beef bone kind of stock. It will leave an after taste long after having dessert at Cow Licks. I suspect tooooo much MSG and a lack of respect for their most popular Noodle Soup. How could you! fyi, Phở is probably one of the easiest dishes to make, soup stock being the most important. If you can’t make soup stock, you don’t have passion for your food! p. s. The worst phở I have ever had.

Most be under new mngmnt. Previous visits were great. Tonight service was lame. Food just ok but slow even though there was only 1 other table occupied. Made us feel like we were doing them a favor. Just a strange vibe. Not the family that use to serve and play piano and make it worth the $. The place next to walgreens/marshalls on nova and dunlaughton is a better option.

Driving by I saw a sign for bubble teas. YES! I had to go in and try to see if I would have two places in the area that serve one of my favorite addictions. I ordered the almond milk tea with pearls. As usual, the milk teas are highly sweetened for the local clientele; if you are like me, just ask for less. Such a tasty dessert, but it is a tad more expensive and smaller than what you get at Yomii down in Port Orange. Phở Saigon’s tapioca pearls are cooked better, though. Now I just have to try the rest of the food.

Service: great Atmosphere: laid back Dining room: clean! I had 33 Export Beer and Phở Ga. I travel all of North America for a living; with that said I must admit that the Phở Ga here ranks high on my list of quality. The broth is important to me and this place has fantastic flavor. I recommend this restaurant based upon their Phở, service, cleanliness, and value.

PHOTIME in Daytona Beach on my birthday, so I am in heaven! Love this place, as always and so far it’s been 1.5 years of frequenting this lovely establishment. I usually order the regular-sized Phở Ga(chicken) and get a couple of Banh Mi(Viet chicken subs). The Banh Mi ain’t your average Subway sandwich, either. It is colorfully dressed with all sorts of healthy edible greens and laced with their secret recipe dressing that keeps me coming back for me. Seriously, whenever I crave a sandwich, this is the only one I desire. The chicken in it is grilled to perfection and you can taste that even some of the veggies in it are grilled, as well. I will try to try more things on this menu, but what I described above is usually what I crave so much and the drive is about 25 – 30 minutes into Daytona Beach lol. The food(obviously) and the excellent customer service keeps this place at 5 stars for me. You will not be disappointed.
