Being a frequent traveler, I have visited urgwnt care facilities all aound the country, many in Florida. PrimeCare Daytona Beach is one I will never return to. Actually, I will not visit another PrimeCare in the entire network. How is it is that my insurance is accepted at every other urgent care facility I have visited and I just pay the copay, yet here, I have to pay $ 162 to see a doctor? Then, because you don’t like my ‘illness,’ which is causing me pain, you send me away? Ridiculousness! Thank goodness CentraCare was right down the street.

I would give these guys a zero if I could. I have insurance with a $ 35 copay for urgent care. They gave me a story about deductibles and how my bill would be $ 160. Having been to urgent care by my house multiple times this year, I knew deductibles have nothing to do with urgent care, so I drove all the way back to the one near my house. Not only did they only charge me $ 35, but I supposedly had a credit from previous visit and only paid $ 5 for the visit! These guys are ripping off their patients, either knowingly, or they don’t know how to bill the insurance. Either way, I suggest you find somewhere else.

Wow. So much is wrong with our healthcare system, it’s a shame that customer service is dead on arrival as well. I have a bad case of bronchitis or a moderate case of pneumonia, for 15 days now. I am on my second round of antibiotics and still feeling poorly, so I called called this morning to speak to a nurse to see if a visit was with my while. I was told she was with patient and that she would call me when she was free. I called an hour later and was told that the nurse could not speak to non-patients, that i would have to come in. I told them I did not have health insurance and would be paying cash. The receptionist told me that it would be $ 80. I said fine and that I would be in. When I arrived I was told that I must be mistaken, because the minimum charge would be over $ 160 — I was basically called a liar. I said no thanks and walked out. These people were rude on the phone, misinformed and on top of it rude in person. I do not recommend this place at all! Take your emergencies elsewhere!

I always have a good experience with Primecare. Doctors are so nice and really listen. The wait is never long either.

I’ve never had a problem when I went to Prime care. The staff is always professional and if need be you get a script for free antibiotics at Publix.

I’ve been here twice and both times received excellent service. Fast & Efficient, they were knowledgeable about my condition and insurance. As someone who works for a doctor’s office I would continue to use and recommend them for my urgent care needs. P. s Amy the receptionist was EXTRA helpful both during my allergic reaction and getting paperwork filled out :)

horrible people to deal with if you can’t pay your bill in full, even if your dealing with a very serious illness — just plain inhumane and unkind folks in billing — one person in particular by the name of ERIC. I highly recommend not using this facility.

Needed to find a close Urgent Care facility to our hotel and was directed here. We were brought to exam room within 5 mins of walking in front door. Staff was very friendly. We were out the door within 30 mins of arriving. Great place if you have a minor emergency.
