Old motel needs renovating. Hot water? On beach with public parking lot behind rooms. Awakened @1 am by guys smoking dope & blaring music in public lot. Police were summoned & situation was rectified. Also front desk person unlocked the door to allow guests into laundry room across the hall at 10:30 pm(supposed to close at 8pm) to do a ton of laundry! We complained and asked to speak to Manager on Duty or franchisee. She refused to call either. Room was musty. Tiny, grungy toilet/shower(note this was oceanfront room– other rooms might have baths). We had to move from our initially assigned room as the perfumed room spray could not mask the doggy odor that permeated everything. So we had paid extra to move to the oceanfront room on the first floor. The other first floor rooms were either occupied or being worked on– so maybe some renovations are being done? Last but not least the hot water situation is a disgrace! Had to run it for twenty minutes to get hot water. When we called the front desk initially to report this we were advised this was the solution! Only reason we gave two stars to this motel has to do with the very polite, nice managers who were very apologetic when they learned of our plight the next morning. If the front desk person had not refused to call them the night before I think some of these issues would have been avoided. Obviously the motel can’t help what goes on in the public parking lot behind it. However Franchisee can fix the hot water situation and designate certain rooms as «pet rooms» Wish I could say some better things about This place as the mangers were responsive once we met them. But I believe in «telling it like it is» so your dollars get you what you paid for. Unfortunately, here they do not.

Stayed here after biketober fest, and it wasn’t so bad. It doesn’t look as nice from the outside but the rooms aren’t bad at all. I give it 3 stars just because, the breakfast selection is very sparse, nothing warm is provided. The top bedding smelled funny to me, but of course I dealt with the 3 days I stayed here with throwing it on the ground and using my own blanket. I’d recommend coming here if you’re on a budget and need a decent spot to stay right on the beach. They even have a full kitchenette you can request. Overall, the staff were friendly and readily assisting with any concerns.

It’s a cheap hotel for a great family vacation. They have rooms with kitchens which really come in handy with a family. Right on the beach. The rooms were clean. We have stayed there twice, planning a 3rd trip.

BESTVALUEFORYOURBUCK!!! This place is great. I like to travel with my dog and when I typically rent«pet friendly» rooms, they smell like urine and sometimes have fleas. THATISNOTTHECASEHERE!!! This room is clean, well maintained, nicely air conditioned, and extremely comfortable. There is a couch to relax and not disturb the beds, microwave, mini-fridge, and a small stove. If you plan to cook, bring your own appliances and dishes, they are not provided. Free reliable wifi which is great when you work on the road like I do. The pool is well maintained and clean, and when using it you’ll have a perfect view of the ocean. When you hit the beach, you basically just step outside the door. Literally less than 100 steps and you’re on the sand! Being pet friendly, they have a small little grassy meadow next door, so there aren’t any«messes» in the breezeways or parking lot. The blonde lady, Cat, at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and had the smile and attitude of someone you want to see when you visit the beach! The breakfast bar is sparse, but free. Cereal, honey buns, coffee, just enough to satisfy til an early lunch. I will not stay anywhere else when visiting Daytona, there are plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance also. I really appreciate the electronic safe in the room. It’s so much more relaxing on the beach knowing that my purse, laptop, and jewelry were secure.

A very cute little hotel! We’ve been here a few times over the last few years, and there’s quite a bit of updating going on here. Love the pool and beach! Employees have always been great. Very accommodating when we’ve needed extras, towels, bottle opener etc. Definitely a little beach town hidden gem!

I can’t believe how little I paid to spend the night in a nice motel on the beach. The room was quaint and clean with micro and fridge. There was coffee and glumpkies(my word for non-descript doughy items to go with coffee) in the morning. More accurately, there was coffee, orange juice, wrapped honey buns, and peanut butter wafer bars. I walked on the beach at sunrise and would have used the pool(also on the beach) if I’d gotten there earlier. Doesn’t look too great from the outside, but it’s a good motel for the price.
