We were in Daytona and my daughter and her boyfriend took a surfing lesson here and had a good time. So the next weekend(June 7,2015) I called about a lesson for myself and my 25 year old daughter. The girl that answered the phone sounded young but professional and was knowledgeable. Even though they didnt have group lesson available she created a group class for us. when we got there the young man at the counter was also helpful and knew what he was diong. It was a great price and we had the instructor all to our selves on a Sunday after noon. Since the shop is across the street from the beach we only had to walk to our lesson. Very convenient. It was a fun time.

Got surfing lesson here. The lesson was okay, the group is pretty large(7 people) the instructor keep telling me 50% of the time about he only get pay per hours and living off the tips. I would say it is an okay experience.

This surf shop is completely unprofessional. They have terrible customer service and could really care less about customer satisfaction. They have uneducated kids work there who don’t know how to interact with people. We took surfing lessons there and instead of being taught by a pro surfer, as was advertised, we were ‘taught’ by this kid who had absolutely no idea what he was doing. I wouldn’t waste my time with this place and would NEVER go back.

I came to Dayton Beach looking for a epoxy or ploy surfboard to rent and I found Triple X to be the only one that had them. All the other surf shops only had soft tops. Triple X is a real surf shop, they have a huge selection of surfboards. It’s not one of those places that claims to be a surf shop but only has clothing and soft goods. They do have retail goods but it is a surf shop first. Super friendly staff and really helpful.
