Happy’s Pizza

I rather give a zero. The service at this location is horrible!!! I ordered pizza on a Friday night at 6:16PM, It arrived at 9PM. When I called an hour and a half in, the girl who answered said he was in my neighborhood and was in route to be there. So, another hour and a half later i finally got a hold of someone (their line was busy for a half hour) and asked for the manager. He apologized and said the ticket didn’t print to the back and that he made it fresh and it was on its way. When I asked for a credit due to waiting 3 hours when i live a half mile away he said «well, I made it fresh» and I said I appreciate that but I have still waited three hours. I never ask for anything free but really, you’re really going to argue– 3 HOURS!!! He agreed to put a credit in for the amount. I called today for the same thing with the credit and was told he only put a $ 3,00 credit in (i’m guessing the delivery charge). WOW! Loyal customer will never be back. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The chicken leg of the meal I got was gross inside. The ribs were mostly fat. The coleslaw was literally noxious. I had to take a shot of Popov just to get the lingering tastes out of my mouth!

My wife and I ordered our pizzas to be delivered; so, I can’t comment on what the experience is like on the inside. That means that I’m going to have to confine this review to the experience of calling in an order, getting it delivered and the quality of the food.
My wife called in the order. She had laryngitis. The person who answered the phone and took the order was very patient and polite while attempting to understand what she wanted to order. The delivery came promptly enough that the pizzas were still hot.
We ordered two of their deep dish square pizzas. They both had banana peppers and mushrooms. The difference between the two was that one was a grilled chicken pizza. The other was a steak pizza. The two pizzas were complementary in their flavors to one another. The grilled chicken seemed to be meatier than the steak and thus more filling. But the steak pizza had really nice flavor.

Now… I try not to be guilty of only writing a review when I’m unhappy… BUT…come on! I love this Happy’s…it’s close, it’s fast and I’ve only had two times in the past 3 yrs when I wasn’t Happy with the food or service. With that being said I’m starting to see a decline in food and service quality at this happy’s. This stuffed cheese bread is usually AWESOME! But this time and the last time I got it the only part of the bread that had cheese was the middle 4 pieces it has 8 slices. I tried to talk to one of the employees about it but didn’t get any where;(so maybe it’s time to find a different place. I hate to feel like that but Judging by the response i got I’m really not going to get anywhere with this crew.
