Not exactly my most fun review to write but if it helps other people in their time of need I’m happy to do it. We called upon Turowski Stanley Funeral Home last week after my grandfather passed. Actually, my mom began preparations a few days before because we knew the time was coming. They walked her and my grandma easily through the entire process – from picking the casket to the burial plot, beginning arrangements with the church, etc. When he passed just a few days later the entire family went to the funeral home to handle the rest of the details. They called the priest who came down to work out the date/time of the funeral itself and they coordinated everything with the cemetery. They were kind and gentle and extremely patient along the way. Our family is small so we decided to forgo a formal visitation and just have an hour for the family the day before the funeral and a window before the funeral at the church for guests. Not to be morbid but they made him look great. Grandpa had been very frail before his death and he looked 10 years younger and healthier than we’d seen him in years. My grandma was so so grateful for this and it brought her a lot of comfort during a very painful time. For the funeral date they handled all the things you would expect them to – transportation, assistance during the funeral itself, etc. We didn’t have to do anything. I remarked at the church that as an event planner I wasn’t used to having everything done for me. It was weird but very nice. It can’t be an easy job dealing with the grieving but they do a remarkable job.

All of the folks here were great and sincere! They made everything as easy as possible while going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. My situation was sudden and I was referred to them from a friend. I called at 10pm on a Sunday and spoke with Scott, the director within minutes. I am so glad I used them, they were great.
