I called Sunday expecting an answering machine, but Alex the owner picked up on the third ring! We scheduled a time for an estimate a few days later. I called the morning of the pick-​up, and again — he answered his phone quickly and told me they were already on their way — (on the early end of the time window — which was perfect).
It’s so nice when business owners are polite and answer their phone/​respond quickly; I can’t tell you how many times I have contacted other service providers and they just didn’t answer/didn’t call back. Alex is refreshing.
He was polite, easy to communicate with, honest, and worked within our budget. He and his hauler removed a pile of wood from an old screened porch we had ripped out over the weekend. They removed everything quickly and neatly.
I then asked him if he knew a good person to replace my rotting & sagging deck. (My theory being that good people recommend other good people). He actually took some time out of his schedule to look at the issue, and gave me a name and number. He then said to feel free to call him if I needed any other referrals. Being new to the area — that was greatly appreciated.
Not often am I inspired to write reviews — you have to be really good or really awful to get me motivated. 1855trash is really good. Thanks Alex!
