Ace Diamond Jewelers

This place is awful, the customer service is terrible!
I realize taking a piece of jewelry purchased elsewhere in for repair isn’t the best idea, but I took my ring in that I received as a gift to be fixed today. The gemstone had fallen out.
Upon waking in I was greeted and told to have a seat while I wait in an entirely empty store, after 5 minutes I heard a woman loudly complaining about having something in her eye to another employee, this convo went on for another 5 minutes while I and another woman now waited, after she finished with her eye problem she finally came to the floor to help me.
my ring was a simple square pink diamond in a white gold setting with tiny diamonds on the band, one I wore everyday for over a year, she takes one glance at it and tells me there’s no way that stone came out of that setting… When I assured her that it had seeing as I’ve been wearing it non stop, she told me it wasn’t possible and to take it back to where I got it or they could rebuild a new one… She handed it back to me and went on to the next woman…
She made me feel like I was trying to get away with something and made me feel as if I was being dishonest when all I wanted was a repair. Please don’t go here!

Very dissapointed in the customer service. I broke my finger a year ago, and their jeweler cut if off of me assuring me that it could be fixed. A year later they tell me that they have no idea who cut my ring off and that it can’t be fixed. They offered to remake it for me for a huge price or buy an upgraded ring. How convenient for them! I left in tears, took it to a experienced jeweler who gladly repaired it for me with a laser and said it was a very simple repair. He also informed me that a lot of my diamonds have ben switched out for CZ. Ace is the only place I have taken my ring too. Do not go here!

I needed money and was very stressed. They helped me appraise my jewelry and I was able to get a check and cash it in the same day. The people who help me out were amazing and very helpful, and sympathetic to my situation.

my husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band from ace. I’ve been there 3 times in less than a year from the little stones around my diamond falling out. They kindly replaced them every time, but Recently another little stone fell out, I went to another jeweler for a second opinion, after showing me my ring under a microscope like a professional he told me shocking news… come to find out Ace has been replacing my lost stones with CZ’S instead!!! Who does that? Thieves do that. NEVER GO THERE EVERRRR!!!
very dissapointing and sad that a jewelry store that my family has gone to for years does this to people who spend so much money.

Ace Diamond Jewelers is one of the best Jewelry companies i have ever been too. I was recommend by a friend to go and buy a Pandora Bracelet. When i walked into Ace they welcomed me instantly. I was instantly asked if I wanted to look at anything. They offer and very nice and wide variety of all kinds of jewelry. i felt safe and i felt that they had knowledge of the product i wanted. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and finding out they have been in business for 30+ years having 2 other locations. Great customer service, wonderful employees, and magnificent deals. I recommend Ace Diamond Jewelers to anyone who wants to get the best for there money. Who wants a company with knowledge of there product and great deals go to ACE!!! you won’t be disappointed and you won’t be upset. I known only go to Ace to get jewelry. I don’t trust anyone else.

I picked up my ring and it still was not correct. I asked to speak with a manager and they said there wasn’t one there. I asked when they worked so I could call and speak with them. The workers said they could not give out this information. All I can say is this business is SHADY. Please stay away.

In 15K transaction I had on eBay for a diamond from ACE DIAMOND JEWELERS in Michigan that turned out not to be what was described and seller was very deceitful and disrespectful, he made 38 harassing calls and when I occasionally pick up he will cuss me out this is after he refused to refund the item and shipping cost, I left him a negative feedback. eBay immediately removed the negative feedback for him and in turn enabling him to continue his deceitful practice. I was careful to spot and discover seller’s deceitfulness but many more may not be so lucky. When I called eBay they cited that my history of occasional leaving feedback prompted them to do so. Of course I leave negative feedback to deceitful sellers. I don’t find money on trees.

We have bought several things from this jeweler and have come away completely satisfied and extremely happy every time. Their prices are fair and selection is very good. In my opinion what sets them apart is the service they provide.
Just very knowledgeable and fair people, I never once got the feeling that I was being taken advantage of or getting screwed in any way.

We found this business via eBay — their eBay username is diamondten. I have never been to their store, or anywhere in the whole midwest actually.
They list a lot of very affordable jewelry on eBay and their website. I found the perfect antique Art Deco filigree ring in their eBay store and BF ended up winning it!
After we received it, he took it to a local jeweler (see my review for J Sahadi Jeweler) to have it checked out and sized.
I could see an inclusion that was definitely not visible in the photos online (it really depends what exact angle you are looking from), but the description online did list the cut and clarity accurately. It was all documented in two official docs from EGL and AGS.
Then the jeweler told us it was actually 18K and not platinum as the listing described, and we asked the eBay seller what the deal was. They apologized and said it was a mistake because nearly every single one of the antique rings they sell are platinum and this one got labeled wrong. They offered a full refund including shipping, but I wanted to keep it, so now we have worked out an agreement for a discount on a future purchase instead. Very responsive and accommodating customer service.
After we got the appraisal, we saw that it was valued around triple what BF paid for it online! So, platinum or not, that definitely made us happy. And the ring is beautiful.
