I needed a small part for my big-rig and thought I might give them a try. This business is a scrap and salvage yard. The Google map is spot on in street location(as far west as you can go on Southern), but their building is the 2nd one back on the left. Once back there, I entered the front door and stood at the counter. Apparently, you are supposed to just wander back into the office and tell Isidore and Harold what you are looking for. They had what I needed right there in the office, and since I had cash in the correct amount, I was able to make my purchase quickly. They also invited me to peruse the yard out back, in case I might need something else. I did so, and found most vehicles to be of the light– and medium-duty commercial variety. Plenty of engines, transmissions, axles, wheels and tires abound. Salvageable truck cabs could be found, and I noticed quite a few steel fuel tanks available. It’s probably best to call ahead and check on availability for parts you might need. They also get complete vehicles from time to time, so it never hurts to check their inventory.
