By far the best stop on the Taste of Dearborn route. The food was great, the staff was friendly and thanked us for coming in. We will definitely be back!

Well to start… at the door you get patted down like you’re a criminal because all the shitty clientele that has been attracted from other cities due to the crappy promotional people of this place. Shitty music, shitty selection of drinks and you get charged like you’re at a 5 star bar when in reality it’s more like a 1 star bar. The music is crap now and so on and so forth. I used to be at this bar every week when they had special events on Tuesday nights. Far far farrrrr off from what it once was. Thanks for ruining what was once a great place in a great city.

There will never be a reason good enough for you to choose this cesspool for a night out. Avoid at all costs or be prepared to experience the worst of the worst when it comes to service, staff, clientele and ownership. Having three security guards checking for weapons at the door speaks volumes

When we walked in, we wondered why this place wasn’t busy on a football Sunday. Now we know why. Terrible service from the bartender, less than satisfactory food. The original used to be a destination, not this one.

Rude!!! Walked in with a bachelorett party, every table had a reserved sign. When I asked if there was a party coming in and if we could sit somewhere, the bartender very rudely told us that we could sit there for now. The place was empty! I took my party and the ones on the way somewhere else. Never again! !

I have been to this place many times and have never experienced what i seen tonight … my whole crew walked in had to get patted down and purses checked. I can understand with all the bs in dearborn but they went in before me … i walked in after and got told i had to pay cover which i found out later no one else from my party of 10 did. Payed it not knowing to walking into what use to be a bar that looked like a club but really nothing going on … we were outside after to smoke a cigarette and seen that a party of 7 did not get patted down, nothing checked on there person like us, just told to go right through. We will never be going there again due to horrible and unreliable service that was provided. I paid 10 dollars to get in to get absolutly nothing in return … kinda mad at myself that i even bought one drink.

Went there for lunch with a group of 8 others. There were 2 tables(of 3 – 4 people) outside, 1 table inside(of 2 people). It took a good 30 minutes for some of our food to come out. One girl didn’t get her food until after most were done and another girl’s food came out noticeably undercooked. The sliders, chicken sandwich and fish & chips were dry. The bills came, and two were incorrect. It took 10 – 15 minutes to fix. An Oberon cost $ 6. Outrageous. We were there for close to 2 hours. Won’t be going back there any time soon.

Food was OK for the price. Bar was clean. Biggest problem was the bartender. She sat in the corner on her phone the whole time we were here. Even while waiting on customers she didn’t put that phone down. There were only 4 people at the bar and I had to go ask for silverware. That is crazy! She rarely came by to see if we needed anything. And she was totally missing a personality. She didn’t smile the whole time we were there. Oh until her friend came in. It’s too bad because last time we were here the service was great!

I visited this bar for a happy hour. I can’t say it a happy hour. It was happy hour arranged by my company. We ordered some wings, onion rings, French fries etc. all of them very salty. Wings were very dry. I had draft beer it is okay as anywhere. But I won’t recommend if you like to taste some food.

Let me start by saying the reviews on Unilocal kind of freaked me out. By the time we read them though our drinks were already ordered. I am glad I don’t put a lot of stock in online reviews. Service was not a problem at all. Their fries were amazing. The craft beer selection was not great, but I never saw an ad claiming that they had a great craft beer selection. The patty melt was delicious also. Now, onto the bad. 1st I ordered my burger medium and my wife ordered medium well. They were switched. In the big scheme of things not that big of a deal and has happened at fancy restaurants just as much as any where else. The biggest bother was this guy that appeared to be either the bouncer or owner. He was loud, really loud. Cussed a little, but it is a bar. He looked like nacho from the walburgers show. That was really the only downside.

Fun place and friendly staff, very outgoing, cheap drinks and great TV setup for watching some games.

No no no no no. I got whammied into visiting because there was a flyer on my car advertising their Tuesday specials, including $ 2 beers. We get inside and find the only $ 2 beers are domestic piss beer. Whatever, we’re there, we’ll order a couple beers to save face. Jacob’s beer tasted old. He figured it was several months past date. My Angry Orchard was fine. The main problem, besides their shit tap selection, is the behavior of the staff behind the bar. There was a dude«working» whose every other word was f**k. Come on, man. No wonder we were literally the only customers in the place. We paid the bill and walked to Baileys, our original destination, where we got a huge selection of craft beers for $ 2 apiece with friendly service and lively atmosphere.

This is the only establishment I’ve ever been to where the owner was obviously a cheap tool. I’ve seen him yell at his employees in front of customers over nothing. I’ve witnessed him come in during lunch and turn the thermostat down to the point the customers need to keep their coats on! I understand he owns quite a few businesses, including being a partner for a gentlemans club. Shocker. They do have a dirt cheap menu which is a nice option, but the food on it is not good. The only reason that the Post should ever be considered as an option is for it’s patio.

My older sis likes the place and it is near my house so, we go their every now and then. I must say our tastes differ. I am not down with this place.
It does get a star for cheap lunch specials and another star for a nice outdoor patio, but that’s about it. The food is meh. Its not uneatable but, I prefer to spend my money someplace else. For example the chips and«fresh» salsa taste like off-brand bagged tortilla chips and salsa from a jar. I could easily just buy that at the dollar store. Yes, it is bar grub but, it could be a little bit better than«meh» The other down fall is the wait staff. It takes forever to get your food and a lot of times they are busy trying to make extra tips by posing for smart phone photos with 50-something year old odd balls! This is the place to have a cheapo lunch and beer, but not a place to impress anyone.

The beer is decently priced… which is about the best thing that I can say about this place. The wait staff is slower than molasses, the atmosphere is super cheese and really, really loud. It’s definitely not a place that I would ever need to return too… especially since Dearborn now thinks that it’s all Royal Oak and can charge for parking. WTF is up with charging for parking in Dearborn? Okay, I know it’s been a while since they started doing this, but since I haven’t lived here since I was in my 20’s I can complain. So there.

What a ridiculously overrated place. I could stand about 10 minutes of this bar, partly because of the atmosphere and partly because of the people it attracts. Laid back my ass. Part budding fraternity gang war, part Jersey Shore… but crappy. The Situation would fit right in — with all his clones.

I have to assume that not everyone has the issues we did, but I need to be honest about our experience. First of all, I want to start off on a positive note. The atmosphere is cool. The hubs and I went to their back patio and it was pretty laid back, and breezy and they have a pretty big bar. They have incredible beer specials so drinking there is relatively cheap. Another plus is the food. Hubs ordered a turkey sandwich and I ordered a grilled chicken burrito. Both were very good, and coupled nicely with the beer. Portions were huge and prices again were reasonable. Now comes the dark side… the service. I can safely say it was some of the worst I have ever seen. Being in the outdoor patio, we were right next to the smoking section. Our server was out there about 5 times during our time there. There were so many servers going back and forth, hubs and I agreed that being a smoker must be a requirement for working there. Back to our server, had to chase her down to come to our table and take our drink order. Then chase her down again for our food order. And for good measure, one more time for our drink refill order. By the time she brought hubs’s wrong food, and we had to chase her down to get it right, we felt like the biggest nuisances on the planet. Because we had been waiting so long for our order to be taken, we passed the happy hour deadline, but our server promised to take half off the price of our appetizer anyway. I’m thinking it’s no surprise for me to tell you that it didn’t happen and guess what… we had to chase her down to get it fixed. I would go back, but I will sit at the bar where I am in somebody’s face the whole time.
