Best pizza anywhere in the area, try the deep dish with «turbo crust» it’s soooo good. The owner and employees are good people, except for that one delivery guy Mood, he’s the worst! Ha just kidding Mood is the man, he’s a terrible rapper though!

I love sal’s pizza, i order from there all the time, their service is great, they’re always on time, and their pizza is delicious and fresh. Their pizza is not consistently on point every time, but i give them five stars because they still have best pizza in Dearborn. Their breadsticks and subs are good too.

I order Pizza from there all the time. They have the best service, they’re almost always on time and the food is great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the taste of the pizza varies, it’s not always great, sometimes it’s just okay.

This is my favorite pizza spot in dearborn! have literally gotten pizza almost every weekend and it’s never failed perfectly made– the toppings are fresh, the pizza is cooked to perfection! highly recommend for your pizza cravings!

this is not real deep dish pizza.
not even close.
this is how it’s made: they put 3 inches of bread, and then add some (very little) cheese and tomato sauce, followed by few ingredients.
all you taste is bread. and it’s not even quality pizza hut bread. it’s like pre-​frozen.
would not go back. other friends enjoyed it though, as late night bad food. everyone admitted that it wasn’t exactly quality.

Truly? I had the best pizza and sub from sal’s that I’ve ever ate. Besides my homemade ones of course. So I ordered both in fear of not liking one, I would have a backup plan. The pizza was great I had a few slices and I also ate the half-​sub in the same sitting!!! Call that a cheat meal/​day and move on. My tummy was satisfied to say the least.

We stopped in at 115am and ordered a extra large cheese and pepperoni pizza. It took 30 minutes and I was drooling the whole car ride home. Got home and dug into the best pizza I have ever tasted. Sal did not disappoint us at all.

I decided to switch things up and try different pizza place than the one I usually order from. They were generous with toppings, but salty. Also, the crust was dry so I really didn’t enjoy it. 3 stars for topping generosity and average pizza.

This place makes very average pizza. I had high hopes as I heard from a friend that the halal pepperoni here is excellent as the restaurant gets it from a special butcher. I was disappointed to discover that the pepperoni was nothing too special. The pizza itself contained too much cheese and tasted very fatty, even for pizza standards.
We also ordered the halal wing ding dinner and that too was a mistake. The chicken wings were way too salty, crunchy and oily and didn’t have any real substance to the taste. The fries were below average and the coleslaw tasted spoiled.
Overall this place was a disappointment and there are plenty of better pizza joints in Michigan.

By far best breadsticks in Dearborn so amazing as well as the turkey sub. Not a fan of the pizza they overdue it too much cheese and kinda oily. I literally just have their subs there great.

Their pizza is always fresh and delicious. Their meat toppings are usually pretty good. They could season their ground beef some more though. However, their meat never tastes old. The service is pleasant. Their delivery guy is nice also. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This pizza is STILL the greatest! I have taken these pies to poker parties and had people asking where i got it. Still excellent and still quality!
The pizza is so great, light char on the crust, toppings perfect, and sauce tastes like real tomato. I defy you to find any pizza in detroit that is as good as Sal’s.
Prices are good: I got 3 EXTRA large and paid around $ 35 including tip. so awesome. great value for my money.

There are a few locally owned pizza joints left out there competing with all the franchises. I just got my first pizza from Sal’s and I can’t imagine ordering from one of those franchises over a place like this EVER! Service — excellent! Pizza — delicious! Cheese bread — the best!

I wish I could say that it’s always perfect here, but the fact of the matter is, it’s not. That being said, when it’s good, it’s really good. Sadly too many times they get our carry out order wrong, either forgetting items or forgetting to make it the way we ordered it. For example, I ordered a ½ veggie ½ cheese pizza with a garlic Parmesan crust, only for them to forget to flavor the crust. This is the second time they’ve done this to me so I guess it happens pretty often. Also, I’ve been overcharged a few times so pay close attention to your receipt. On the positive side when they do get your order right it can be down right delicious, for that reason alone I will continue to give them my business.

You can find a pizzeria on every corner in Dearborn. Somehow they all stay in business which I never understand. There are 2 reasons why Sals stays open. 1. Great food 2. Their prices are MUCH higher than their competitors.
At times I see why they can charge the prices they do. They dish out a quality product and there is no arguing that. Quality over quantity I guess. But unfortunately, when it comes to larger orders we tend to avoid Sals Pizza. Only because of the pricing. We’ve ordered a few times and dropped $ 100+ on an order for 6 – 8 guys whereas other places we literally pay half the price. Call us cheap, whatever.
The guys and gals who run this place are top notch people. Can’t beat them. Very friendly, talkative and take good care of this business they run. The one thing holding Sals back from a 5 star review is their pricing. I still go here and recommend you do too.

Ok the food is seriously great. The subs are fantastic (Turkey plus mushrooms) and the pizza is very tasty.
THE PROBLEM IS PRICE. They charge $ 1 for ranch on the side, $ 1 for mushrooms and everything never costs the same.
I ordered 2.5 subs, 1 large 2 topping pizza, and an order of breadsticks. My total was $ 44 bucks!
Another time i ordered a whole sub, breadsticks, and a drink. $ 20 bucks! This can’t be correct. I didn’t pick it so i couldn’t call them out.
I did call them out on a larger order and the owners son gave me $ 4 dollars back and apologized saying it was an accident. They must have a button where they jack up prices or something.
WATCH YOUR BILL but the food is really good.

Overpriced, when asked why so much? The dude says «trust me you’re gonna love it» ok? charged me $ 1 for small lousy ranch. That i told them to keep. pizza/​wings were soaking in oil and was burnt. The lady in the front counter had a disgusting attitude! What a shame. First and last time. Honesty we ended up ordering from another pizzeria. Save your money peeps!

I noticed sometimes the crust is a little burnt.
But to fix this I just make sure to ask for the «Turbo Crust».
Its a mixture of seasoning and I think butter or some other coating. It always comes out perfect that way and adds a lot more flavor!
Still my go-​to for Pizza place!
