Deltona, FL
One of the best kept secrets for parks in Volusia County. The entire playground is covered with sunshades, making this a comfortable place to play, even on the sunniest of days. The playground has options for littler kids and kids who may be using a wheelchair for assistance. There are adjacent covered pavilions in easy sight line to the playground, so instead of fighting for the good pavilions at Gemini Springs, head a bit East to Bill Keller for a good simply playground for a birthday party or a place to let the elementary set get their sillies out.
For older kids, there are nice basketball courts, tennis courts and baseball fields to play a quick game of ball.
