Let me first say, Dr Brackett is very nice. The first visit went«ok». The dental hygienist was nice, but was not as experienced as I would’ve liked when checking my gums. The second visit is where the fun began. The Dr. Had a heck of a time numbing my mouth to remove a crown. Once removed, I was provided with a temporary crown. That was bearable. But, on my return to obtain my permanent crown, that is where I’m in shock. First the Dr didn’t wait long enough for the numbing to take place. Ouch!!! Then had to get additional Novocain to numb. Then had a hard time removing the temporary crown! I asked if they were able to remove it. I was told yes. I don’t even know what else I can say at this point, but I’m just in shock at my experience. All I can say is they may need to address the issues they have at this practice, and improve.

I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Brackett – what a lovely down-to-earth soul. When I moved here, I got this list from Aetna of at least 100 dentists. I wasn’t interested in going to some corporate-style impersonal dentist office. As I scanned the list, I began looking up dentists on Unilocal that were on my insurance plan. Dr. Brackett had the best reviews, so voila, there lies my decision. I had no problem booking my appointment as a new patient and they even did a text to my cell as a reminder and confirmation the day before. When I arrived, the front desk staff was courteous and kind. Even though the building looks a little ragged on the exterior, they have done a great job fixing up the waiting room – exuding newness and comfort. Chill and watch TV while you wait. As I was called back, I noticed there is also TV in each room with the remote by the chair – so I popped on Live with Kelly and Michael… how nice! My hygienist seemed slightly anxious or maybe even slightly frazzled at first but she was actually rather gentle and efficient. At last, Dr. Bracket came in and made me feel like a warm Della Reese had just blessed me with her presence. I told her I wasn’t in my usual Christmas spirit since I was away from my family for the first time during the holidays. Well, would you believe she got her assistant to come in and switch it to Pandora Christmas music??? She wanted to get me in the Christmas spirit. She started singing Christmas carols. Now, how many dentists are going to do that with you – she just instantly cared so much to try and bring some sparkle to, not only my teeth, but my day. On top of being warm and bright, she is also knowledgeable and on top of her game. Atlanta, it looks like I have a dentist! You are going to love her!

I love Dr. Brackett! She is the most caring and soothing Dr I know. I have a fear of dentistry and she walks me though every step making sure I’m comfortable. Her work is outstanding. She’s not at a fancy location however, you will not be disappointed in the service! She is an Dentist, Dentist.

The place is a little far from everything else and in sort of a questionable area, but other than that this is a great dentist. The receptionists were all very friendly. The place also adheres to their schedule. I was seen within 15 minutes of getting there which is so rare in a dentist’s office these days. So you’re thinking… oh if they manage to see everyone on time, that must mean that they rush all of their patients. Also not true. The hygienist spent a very long time on my teeth evaluating each and every one of my gums. I was highly satisfied. I also liked the family feel to the office. When Dr. Brackett actually came in to look at my teeth, she also did not seem rushed and stayed to answer any questions I had and make sure the hygienist did her job. She was also very friendly and talked to me while she was doing her job. I will be going back to this place.
