The food here is every bit as good as the Mexican food I regularly eat in San Antonio. The carnitas were delicious and the chicken enchiladas verde were flavorful and very good… love the salsa, too… margaritas were not too strong, but could use some limes-​at least as a garnish… hope folks in Decatur will try to explore the extensive menu so as to really appreciate this place…

Chips and salsa are exceptionally good. Great tacos except one time had a stale shell but never again had that problem. My family has been eating here for a few years and it’s some of the best Mexican food around. Can’t go more than a week without having an intense craving for it.

I tried the combination where you get one of everything and a large margarita. The food didn’t taste good and the chile riano was pitiful. The survey was flirting very strongly to the young girls behind us and kept trying to leave your table as soon as he could. The margaritas were so strong that I didn’t even drink a quarter of it, they gave both me and my girlfriend huge drinks when we had our child with us. I would avoid this place if you can.

FANTASTIC MARGARITAS! Get the 12 oz one. Great hot food. Friendly service! Just took a while to get our bill but most of the staff seemed to speak Mexican mainly. So I’m not sure they understood when we wanted our check.

Wife and I stopped in for a quick bite before a movie. Good service and very tasty food. I had a plate with a Poblano pepper, beef quesadilla, rice and some fried shrimp. I usually don’t like fried shrimp because they can be too greasy– these were large shrimp, crispy and delish, Poblano was awesome and the lightly seasoned beef quesadilla had just the right ratio of ingredients to make it hard to stop eating even after I was getting full. Waitress was nice– atmosphere was good. Lots of people there that night and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. We will surely be back soon!

As an Arizona girl, I was a little afraid this would taste like white people Mexican food. This restaurant was pretty good and satisfied my cravings. I had some pretty good carnitas, and the rice and beans extremely good! The service was fine, and I would return if I was in the area again.

I don’t think the guy with the complaint about smell and sanitation has the right place! This place is always clean, the wait staff is super fast and efficient! They have the best chips and salsa in town! All their food is delicious, fast, and hot! Also, they have expanded and you never have to wait for a table. I highly recommend El Rodeo!

Ok, When i went here once there was a sewage leak that smelled horrible. We left before we could even order our food! The place is very unsanitary, not very well trained waiters. I could of gave this 3 stars if they would at least pay attention to their service!

One of my favorites in town. Not much room but so worth it. The cheese dip is the best in town and the chips are the least greasy. The Chile Colorado is AMAZING! Great staff and so clean. I go here again and again.
