GNC’s are typically overpriced, especially if you aren’t a «gold card» member. And something about paying to shop somewhere irks me. They have an agenda, and if you ask them their suggestions, they’ll tell you that a product of theirs is best even if that isn’t close to what goals you are trying to achieve. Often when I’ve been there, people have been pushy, and if you don’t pick what they suggest, they get rude and standoff-​ish. I won’t go back unless I absolutely have to. And even then I’ll be prepared for the strong-​arm tactics.
