Affordable prices, a LOT of food! Great, delectable, QUALITY food. Last visited in January 2016. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside but it’s great quality. The only con is their«salads» which clearly isn’t their specialty! Lol Just kinda messy & thrown together. BUT their hot food is tasty! So stick to that & you’ll be good.

Best breakfast on the Eastside hands down. However the older Hispanic lady on front counter in the morning needs to check the attitude. The lunch is average. But the evening staff has awesome customer service!

Food was tasty. The sandwich could have been wrapped in a different material because the bread got soggy a little. Other then that everything was solid. Food wise. The lady taking orders probably had a bad day or something she seemed agitated. Good music good vibes clean place. Fairly priced.

Friend brought us here on a Sunday, which we found out they only serve breakfast on Sunday, which was fine because it was exactly what we were looking for! I ordered the egg, cheese and bacon with potatoes and it was ridiculously good! The potatoes were seasoned almost to perfection, and the egg, cheese and bacon sandwich is between the two thickest slices of bread, it’s amazing really what they conjure up out of this place, don’t pass up this place if you’re ever in the neighborhood!

This place was NOT clean, repulsive, actually. I immediately wanted to walk out after coming in, but it had good Unilocal reviews(odd), and hubby hates when I’m indecisive, so I went against my better judgment and ordered«breakfast.» I was just so thrown off by how dingy the inside was. The floors looked like they had not been mopped in a couple of days. The woman serving the food kept wiping up the overflowing grits from the buffets with her rag and dusting them back into the buffets that she was serving from. Yuck. Gross. I couldn’t get these images out of my mind and could not finish those nasty eggs I bought. Needless to say, I got a stomach ache afterwards. Not sure how anyone could give this place a good review, and I really wanted to like it, because it’s on Candler Road in an area that could certainly use a good breakfast diner. Tsk … Tsk. Hopefully, they’ll get some new management and clean things up a bit.

Pretty solid spot. The food is cheap and plentiful. I ordered the salmon cakes with grits, eggs and cheese, and toast. I didn’t care the eggs, but that’s just me and my preferences. The grits were pretty good and the salmon cakes were as well. The wait wasn’t too bad as I went on Saturday morning. I would definitely come back again. Staff was friendly as well!

ok so i finally went to this place. First of All Gut busters is the name and the average American is overweight. Heed my warning Run… They give you alot of food for your money but it is not that good. Nothing about it! Will someone please tell the cooks the French Toast is suppose to be cooked thoroughly this is done with eggs. You will get sick from uncooked eggs! Disappointed. Most folks are just greedy and dont know good food! recommendation to a Great breakfast spot«Highland Bakery» worth every dime.

If you’re looking for good tasting, but fatty greasy food at a Great Price this is your place. Don’t let the building(converted House) fool you. Doesn’t look like much for the outside, nor the inside but this is a must stop if you NEED to be FULL on a budget

Great breakfast spot. I’ve tried a lot of their items. The pancakes have a yeasty taste that I don’t care for. The French toast and biscuits are good. I always get the eggs and potatoes. Can last me 2 – 3 days. I have to pace myself or else I’ll get too stuffed. Definitely try the peach and lemonade mixed.

I drive past this place at least once a week and from the outside view, I wouldn’t visit; however, my Mom recommended this place so, I tried it. They have the best gyro I ever tasted. I’ll def be back.

Been there for breakfast. Don’t know why anyone would go there twice. The place is a dump the food is no better then McDonalds but twice the price. Can’t even eat in no tables even though there are plenty of room for tables. Guess the owner doesn’t want to deal with the customers just wants our money. Won’t be back ever.

Ok, so I finally got to try«GUTBUSTERS»,(Lol…gutbusters.), for breakfast since I was in the area, and ok… the hype is warranted! The place itself is NOTHING to brag about. Oh, its HOOD shawty! Complete with unnecessarily LOUD customers, some lady that was TOOOLD to be «carrying on» arguing with the owner about her order(which led to her being banned), and some young Chic that looked like she just rolled out of bed, said«I’ll be right back», and walked up to Gutbusters in a straight up SHORTNIGHTGOWN! …and I witnessed all of that today, and I was only there like 15 minutes! Hilarious… I love my people! Anyway the place is set up cafeteria style, and everything looked very appetizing! I ordered a combo that came with 2 pancakes, grits(cheese or regular, I got cheese), eggs and your choice of meat. Bacon for me! All this was just under $ 7! When I got my order a short time later, I understood the name of this joint. They give you plenty of food! I left and went to work with my order. I don’t like eating grits with my pancakes, so I really got 2 breakfasts for my money in my opinion. I ate the pancakes, some of the scrambled eggs, and about 4 strips of bacon and I was good! I had about 5 – 6MORE strips of bacon left! Like I said, they give you plenty of food. The pancakes were pretty good, just a hair to thick for my tastes. Mines are better at home… then Cracker Barrel for 2nd place. Lol! I would even say Mamies on Evans Mill pancakes are better. I ate the cheese grits the rest of the eggs and bacon for lunch. All very good! I love breakfast, and will definitely make my way back to try other items they have to offer. They had some potatoes that looked really good, chicken sausage links too. Oh yeah… I’ll be back.

I love gut bust! They have some bomb as grit’s, links and bacon strips. You can get yo’ grit’s with or without cheese(I like it without. Its good with cheese too tho). The Spanish clerk’s to me were very nice and patient to they sometimes rude customers. Best home cook tasting breakfast hands down!

They have pretty good breakfast. I usually get french toast, cheese grits, and bacon. I wish a drink came with the breakfast combos. The Philly cheessteaks are descent but sometimes they are a bit dry. The lemonade is good and sweet just how i like it. The staff is very friendly. Awesome customer service!
