Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

Terrible place.
This Popeye’s is 3 minutes from my house and unlike you might think, it is horribly inconvenient with their slow, inaccurate service and bad attitude/​manners.
When I moved to the neighborhood 3 years ago this place was great. Nice staff, quick accurate service…
Now… ugh
Today I placed my order for an 8 piece family meal at 2:20pm and received my order at 2:37. Stupid me didn’t check the bag before I left. (I was EXCITED! They gave me food!) Only to get home to my family with a Popeye’s bag with no biscuits. They gypped me on the biscuits.
I dunno… Popeye’s Chicken and BISCUITS, right?
Anyway… I think I’ll go to the one further down Memorial from now on. These people at this one kind of suck at their job.

Listen to the warnings! This place sucks, especially their customer service. How can people be so incompetent??? You’re getting paid for a job, why act so stupid? We waited an hour for our order, which is ridiculous. To sum it up, the staff here is rude, incompetent, and should be fired. Ohhhhh, I hope their corporate office sees these reviews too. This staff is absolutely ruining popeyes image.

The idea of fast food is to get in and out, fast right? Not at this Popeye’s, sorry. I live 5 minutes from here, I was heading home for a work conference call at 1:37pm, for a 2pm call. Plenty of time to get take out and bring it home and eat fast? Even if it took 10 minutes to get my food and 5 minutes to drive home I’d be ok? Right, if only my food took 10 minutes. The drive through line was about 2 cars deep, I’ll give it that. I quickly ordered some chicken strips, coke and fries, a pretty basic order. I pulled forward, paid and was told it would be a minute, the chicken wasn’t ready. To pull my car forward and they’d bring it to me. At this point I was antsy, it’s cutting into my eating time. She gave me my drink, but no straw, so that was a bust. I waited about 10 minutes, went inside and asked where my food was. I still had to wait. We’re talking chicken strips, at a chicken place, not exactly at lunch rush. When I went inside and asked the woman behind the counter looked at me as though she was annoyed that I had asked her where my food was that I order 10 minutes earlier. Eventually it came out, and I raced home. Since it was a video chat (with my dept of about 20 people) I would go off camera to eat and hope nobody noticed my absence. Never again Memorial Popeye’s, you are the worst.
They get two stars because the food was ok. The service and speed were not

Drive thru at 5:15pm on a Saturday– some headset problems but they were able to get me on my way with a box of hot delicious chicken in a few minutes. Service isn’t always terrible I guess, and you know the chicken is good.

I have to believe that Popeye’s chicken must be premade and shipped because even this band of brain dead, ghetto clowns can make it taste good. I love the chicken at Popeye’s but the service here is the worst I have ever had at a chicken place. I get the apathy though considering what they are doing, I get the fact it is slow even. When I lost my cool and have to call people out is just plain being dumb and then lying to me. This woman there tells me they are all out of biscuits and spicy chicken. First how in the heck do you run out of chicken at a chicken place but I was ok with regular. Then i noticed in the window two trays of biscuits. I pointed them out to the woman and she looks back and shrugged and said «You cant have those». I asked why not and she replied «you just cant and that is all there is to it.» i aksed her if they were for another customer and she turned her back on me and walked away. I left without my beloved chicken. I hope a plane crashs into her bedroom.
Anyhow, I say if you need the sweet, crack like chicken just keep driving because this place is a pain in the bottom.

This used to be my home Popeye’s. The chicken is good of course, but the staff are completely incompetent. Avoid this place like the plague. If you just can’t go without their fried ambrosia, be sure to plan for a long wait. ALWAYS check your food before you leave.
