Best gluten free hamburger buns and white bread in town, hands down. The pumpkin spice cupcakes they had this fall were pretty awesome, too. I have never been to the actual bakery, I get mine from either the organic section freezer at Kroger, Return to Eden(which sometimes has fresh, not frozen) or the dedicated freezer at Piece of Cake in Buckhead(yes, it seems weird to go to a non-gluten-free bakery to get gluten-free stuff, but it’s in a totally separate freezer and the packages are sealed up). As the previous reviewer stated, the white bread is better toasted.

I first heard of this place at Unilocal Helps. PKB had a variety of yummy samplings for us to try and they were all really good. They dont have a store so you’re left going to the various locations where their products are [theoretically] stocked. The product? Love it! So very delicious and really love that it’s gluten and soy free. I give the product alone 5 stars! Things Ive tried: White Bread: It’s not cheap! a loaf is $ 7 and it’s the approximate size of a pound cake. Strangely enough, it’s of equal density too. The lady who helped me mentioned that I should put it in the freezer then toast it. I failed to do this and found myself not enjoying my new gluten free bread. But later, when I did as they advised and toasted the frozen slice… VERYGOOD! Chocolate Brownie: The best I’ve ever had! Really! Oatmeal cookies: A little hard but still very good. My only issue is that there isn’t a consumer friendly way to obtain the product, for this they get 2 stars. Attempt One(Few months ago): Went to the Edgewood Kroger location but it seems I failed to look in the freezer section(I wrongfully assumed it would be in the bakery section or the non-frozen section of the organic foods). Then went to the Savananda didnt find it there(dry or frozen). Went to Kroger on Ponce didnt find it there either. Attempt Two(A week later): Peachtree Road Farmers Market, sorta found what I needed… I wanted the wheat or the rosemary bread but they only had white(not a fan of white). I got it anyway. Oh, and have you tried this market yet? It’s a cross between a «cluster» and a children’s nursery. Pure Chaos(at least the day I went it was). Also, the market is only on Sat and it closes at 12pm I think. Attempt Three(about a week ago): Stopped by Savananda once again since I was close. Didnt find any bread or desserts in the entire store, let alone the freezer section. No one even knew what I was talking about and couldn’t tell me when the get stock. Didnt go to Edgewood because that would have meant turning left out the lot, an impossible task. It’s frustrating, I want to buy their products but its like a having to go on a scavenger hunt to find what I need. When they have storefront it will be a great day. So! if you can find them try it, you’ll love it!
