So Fresh and So Local Elite Event

I am born and raised in Atlanta and I swear I have never been on this part of Lavista Road. I would have never known about Sprig if it weren’t for the So Fresh and So Local event. I loved it! My husband and I had a great time meeting new Unilocalers. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails. Any bartender that squeezes all of their juices fresh to order is a friend of mine, and you can bet I’ll back. I tried the Unilocal drink, the sangria, and Rosie’s Red Slippers. All of the drinks were great, but Rosie’s by far was my favorite… gin and fresh squeeze grapefruit muddled with fresh rosemary… amazingly refreshing and so unique. My favorite of the food selection was the fried pickles. When you can see a stack of jars of homemade pickles sitting out on the bar, you know they are going to be some fine fried pickles!
Wesley Cook provided the perfect music for the occasion. We took home two CDs and can’t wait to hear him perfor again!
Thanks to Kathleen and Lee for organizing and to Sprig for hosting a great Unilocal event! Can’t wait to go back to Sprig to enjoy a full meal.
