Super 8 Decatur Downtown

Awful, if I had a car and not have to be up so early I would stay somewhere else. The blankets are dirty and it has roaches. I called they did nothing, brought some spray and just bolted. Completely awful, my company did quite a bit of business here because of the location, but will never reccomend them to have anyone stay here again.

So I assumed that usually franchised establishments are pretty much the same. Until I came here. I thought a $ 100 was a tad steep for a one night stay but since my drive was long and I was close to the university close by where I needed to be for conference the weekend was convenient, plus the boss is paying so why not? Well for starters the floor had little lint balls all over it, with pop bottles behind the bed, ponytail holders, skittles and the bag, stains on the wall and toilet. Yes those stains. Asked for a smoking room and it didn’t have an ashtray. Last straw. Was gonna stay until loud guys woke me up next door. Did I mention the free WiFi they offer is as crappie as can get? You’d swear they have dial up.

We had a very nice newly remodeled king suite. It was very clean and it stayed nice and quiet. It was convenient to the Children’s hospital and restaraunts nearby. We will definitely go back if we see the need in the future.
