I have had excellent service from this business. They even called me when one of my returned packages had not tracked appropriately, making sure I was given credit for returned merchandise. Even keep my most used addresses on file in case I forget!

This is the only place to drop off FedEx packages in the area. They do not provide any shipping labels for a package unless you are paying them to ship it. So if you are using a personal or company account number make sure your package already has a label before you get there. Also, they charge packaging fee of 2 dollars for using a piece of tape. The older woman that has been there since it has opened is extremely rude. I will drive the extra 15 miles to Madison from here on out.

This was my first experience with this location and possibly my last. I needed to drop off a FedEx SmartPost package for an eBay transaction. Unilocal says the business is open until 6 pm and google says 5:30 pm. I arrived at 5:25 pm and as I drove up a gentleman locked the door. Since all I needed was to drop off a package, I hurried up to the door in hopes he could take it anyway(after all I still had 5 minutes until he closed). On my way up I noticed that my FedEx label(a sticky label) was curling up at the edge. I banged on the door, he opened, and I said, «I need to drop this off but the label is lifting at the edge. Can you put a piece of tape on it?» He replied that he could but it would cost me $ 2. Needless to say I declined. Although I wish I was able to arrive sooner, I would appreciate a retail business that stayed open the hours it has posted(even if you have *just* 5 minutes). As for the $ 2 «packaging» fee, I think that’s a great business practice I want to implement in my own life. I will now charge every bonehead I meet a $ 2 handling fee.

I needed to drop off of some FedEx boxes with prepaid labels from eBay, since FedEx doesn’t offer home pickup services. I though I would help support a small business, by shipping another item I sold offline with them. The box I carried was already, sealed and taped properly, with an address label. They first stated shipping would be $ 80+ for FedEx ground($ 24 online cost), they then offered USPS Parcel for $ 60(Cost would be $ 28 at post office). Keep in mind the comparison quotes are standard prices, business and reseller rates are discounted another 10−30%. I don’t mind any business making money, I know it is essential. But this is place is an absolute ripoff.

The regular Post Office closes at one on Saturdays which I had forgotten about. So where does one go mail boxes? The Shipping Store, of course! They’re open til two(six p.m. on weekdays). A friend said centers like these are cheaper when sending book rated packages and I tend to agree. My boxes weighed a bit over 50lbs and I paid a little under $ 50 for 6 – 7 day delivery. The place was so nicely air conditioned I wanted to stay there! The two staff members were extremely helpful, helping me choose the perfect sized box for packing more things in. They ship FedEx ANDUSPS depending on ones needs.
